Sorry I am late in posting Knitwitch but I was very poorly yesterday. I have STS but I am quite pleased with that as I have been so inactive for several days and it seemed like I was eating more as well.0

Timetogrowup wrote: »Hi! Can I slip quietly in and join the thread pls? After years of lurking I joined the £10 a day challenge last month and the whole process of doing something publicly (albeit comfortably anonymous!) gave me such a kick up the backside! So I figured I'd try the same with weight loss!
I am not massively overweight and haven't really had any major problems before but the muffin top has been steadily overflowing since my third child and added to a chronic condition that now makes excercise a challenge I need to do something about it now!
I'm not sure what I need to do for the thread but I'd like to loose a stone as my target. Realistically it would be nice to be gone before summer-whenever that may be!!
Of course you can join!
If you want to join in the challenge/s then you are more than welcome - they run for 12/13 weeks at a time and this one has 4 weeks left to run (if you want to join you just say how much you hope to lose in the challenge time and then every weekend you post your loss (or gain *cough*)
If you don't want to join in the challenge and just want to chat on here about how things are going then that is fine as well - what ever helps you the most.Must use my stash up!0 -

Im struggling to keep up with my course whilst working full time but not sure ill cope on a part time wage...........thing is (hopefully) in 2 years ill be a qualified sign language interpretor and be earning more that i do now
Well done all the losers :T
Yes after having my first baby I returned to work, teaching 70% timetable, spread over 4 full days but on those days I have more PPA (free) lessons than most. I felt I used to have money to save but no time with family and friends due to taking work home. When full time, my average working week was about 50 hours (not including any breaks where I actually had a break). Could not go back to those hours with a baby and will probably ask for even fewer hours when I go back after this one. Time is precious. Family and good health (including mental health) are more important than expensive things. I would rather enjoy the whole year than spend a fortune on a 2 week holiday abroad.
Gluttony diary for today:
B: 2 weetabix, raisins. Milk. 1/4 piece wholegrain toast peanut butter.
L: Multigrain sandwich with 2 rashers of bacon, 1/2 a smartprice chicken burger and loads of salad. One side Flora light, one side light mayo.1/2 sirlion steak (cooked to perfection on BBQ) (fat trimmed off mostly) Salad, Mushrooms, Onions both fried with 1 cal spray. Wedges with jackets on, done in the Actifry with only a few sprays of oil- I microwave them first to soften otherwise they take ages to cook without more oil. Light mayo mixed with wholegrain dijon mustard.
S: Glass 1/2 fresh juice, 1/2 water. A very small glass of red wine (about 60ml)
three teaspoons of the cheesecake our friends brought.
First BBQ of the year- willpower tested but not too much damage done2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Hi everyone. I've been very bad and haven't reported in since 18th Jan - mainly because I've deliberately not been weighing myself
However, I'm back on it again now, and thankfully I'm still the same as I was last time I posted (no idea how, but for once I'm not arguing with the scales).
STS
Happy weighing everyone.:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -
