Hello! First post on this thread..just what I was looking for!

Thanks Knit Witch for keeping good track of everything!!

500+ pages later I would love to join your club. I am not very overweight, but I have never seen the "high" numbers I'm seeing now when I step on the scale (65kg/10st 2lbs).
Overall I am within in the "healthy range", but I will start to try to conceive in June and would like to get uber-fit by summer.
Right at the beginning of the year I started to exercise but only started to control what I eat in February.

My goal is to reach 57kg/9st .
-8 kg in 3-4 months may be not that healthy, but I will see how I go. From Saturday I have lost 3lbs without even trying much, so this may be that kind of weight that is easy to lose.
I might get to 61/60kg without much effort and then naturally slow down/stop unless I take my diet to the next level..
Dont worry, I am not going to rush it and jeopardise my health!!
Anyway, I'm going with Kg as that's what I am use to, so..

Can I join with goal of -8kg, please?

I am very sorry for my numeric jibber jabber!! :silenced:

    Have a good day!!

Good to see you Franigan and welcome to the thread. We run the challenge for about 3 months at a time and there are 5 more weigh ins for this challenge (that is the challenge finishes on the weekend commencing March 28th), do you want to set a challenge for the remainder of this challenge? or do you just want to follow along without the challenge?
    Must use my stash up!

    Hi Franigan
wow, you read 500 pages , I'm impressed with your staying power (although I want to shoot you down in flames for suggesting 10st 2lbs is a high number :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:)

Seriously though, good idea to get fit before the summer.

    Me too!!!
I have a giant bag of crisps in the kitchen and could quite happily scoff the lot...trying to stick to one small handful (don't ask why I have crisps, I have a problem walking past a bargain!)

Last night my DS (the one who doesn't live here) turned up at 10pm with a pizza and chips...oh the gorgeous smell tempting me, I couldn't resist and pinched quite a few chips...did I say he doesn't even live here...:rotfl:

    Thanks Ellie99,

Ah ah! Now that made me laugh! I just meant that I'm joining you lot veeery late.
I started with the SW thread and read a couple of pages and decided that - in the nicest possible way - it was too much work (lazy me!)..so I looked for something more suitable and here you all are!!
Obviously I haven't read well or even enough before posting, 'cause I haven't even understood you guys go 3 months at a time!! Doh!!

Please don't think I am inconsiderate! It maybe not a huge amount, but I'm a bit of a short ar*e (like my bf rudely likes to call me) so this weight is spread over..well..not the tallest person!! :embarasse:rotfl:
Jokes apart, no real complaints from me!

Ah I see now Franigan...think I was having a bit of a blonde moment there :rotfl:...imagine reading over 500 pages!
Welcome to the lazy dieting thread :D (except for the very energetic savesummore doing her 30 day shred before daylight!)

And no, we don't think you're inconsiderate, we come in all shapes and sizes here :) I think I'll be happy if I get down to 10 stone...actually I'll be ecstatic :rotfl:

Fingers crossed for weigh in tomorrow.

Yes, I know what you mean, I've got one of those barriers too that I'd love to break!

    Food diary for today:
B: Apple and blueberry porridge (trying to avoid nasty fake flavours like these at the moment, but low on bread!)
L: ham sarnie, small hadful of almonds, small hot chocolate in a meeting
D: Chana Dal, rice and 2 lamb kebabs (all home made)
    S: carrot with lemon juice

Also went to Aquafit with sauna afterwards.

Think my day wasn't unhealthy, but lacking in fruit and veg again - I took an apple to site with me, but didn't have anywhere to wash it. Need to scratch my brain for healthy and affordable breakfast ideas!

Splitting headache tonight (prob dehydrated) and my legs are aching, hope that means I've been active enough to burn some calories.
    Food wise:
B: usual 2 weetabix, milk raisins.
L: (friend visited with her LOs) Tuna sweetcorn mayo sandwich on multigrain bread served with lots of salad on the side. (Light mayo- 2 tablespoons in the mix but enough there to make DH's packed lunch today and tomorrow. and mine tomorrow too.
Dinner: Baked potato, beans, salad. 1/2 SF Chicken Fillet. 2 vege fingers. Small chunk cheese
Snacks: 1 peppa pig fairy cake (small and hardly any icing on it) 1 x mini egg. 1 x orange.
Must drink more. Fingers crossed for everyone's weigh in tomorrow xx

B - spicy fruity porridge, I make mine with water and add cinnamon and dried fruit for sweetness, then add a dollop of ff Greek yogurt
L - lentil and bacon soup, mini panini, apple
D - prawn salad with new potatoes
S - satsuma, slice of chocolate cake (was given to me, what could I do?!)
E - a friend fixed the switch on the treadmill for me, have got up to 10 x 3min sessions a day which is 300 cals. Hoping to increase it if and when the bellows allow.

Good luck for weigh in tomorrow, sweet dreams :)
