I wonder if we all have our own personal self destruct buttons, and if it contributes to why we are prone to weight gain? I know I have one!
sparrer, think of that little black dress waiting for you
take a photo of it and stick it on the cupboard where you keep the bread maker, or use the picture as your screen saver on your laptop.
My screen saver is several pairs of jeans in decreasing sizes, I'm aiming for the smallest pairIt's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0 -

S melon
E - none, just work which wasn't very strenuous today:o0 -
Food diary for today
B: Plum.
2 Weetabix, SS milk, few raisins
S: apple
L: Rest of the bag of rocket etc salad. Baked Potato, Beans, 3 chopped cherry toms. 1/2 a Mr Kipling french fancy cake. (which is 55 calories approx- for half a cake not everything lol)Fish fillet in batter. Mushy peas (1/2 tin) Beans (1/4 tin)
Naughty evening snack- a sausage
Feel like I've been really naughty but looking back it doesn't look that bad. Well if the weigh in at the end of the week doesn't go well, I'll get stricter. I'm definitely eating healthier so if weight loss doesn't happen it'll be due to quantity not quality of food. And insufficient exercise. Had a bit of a walk today but not enough to be significant. Challenge tomorrow is a lunch out with friends. I will resist alcohol. I will not have pudding unless it is fruit.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Had another good day today, salad for tea...
mind, it's a dangerous business, I grated my thumb nail off making it, that would never happen with chocolate
(I now have 3 broken nails and one which was caught and ripped back so has yucky blood underneath it...and I would so love to be ladylike)
Made myself go out for a walk this afternoon, felt really stiff after sitting about for too long.
Wearing my slimmer jeans really comfortably now
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Good idea to use the pic of your jeans as a screen saver ellie. Well done on the latest pair being comfortable
B - missed
D - roast beef in toby - didn't take a huge amount (where do people put those platefuls they pile up?) and only ate half. No pud
T - bacon & tomato sandwich
S - melon, satsuma, banana fruit salad
Spent a lot of time in the car today, hopefully no interruptions tomorrow when I plan to be in the garden
Sweet dreams0 -

Dangers of salad:rotfl:
Well done on the slim jeans being comfortable:T
Like the idea of the jeans screensaver. Anyone got any other motivators?
Also what are your favourite diet friendly meal? My main thing atm is salads and stir fries but soon to get bored of that. I'm hoping to do some fish fillets cooked in tin foil in the oven later in the week but bought so much salad and stir fry veg I'm stuck with that for now. Will have to shop smarter. Must meal plan for next week.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Haven't been sleeping very well for weeks - either sleeping but not feeling rested, or just waking up for big chunks. Last night was another prime example, so I think I need to start a food and exercise diary to see if there's a link. Today I need to watch out so I don't buy energy food.
Will swing by the pharmacy for a herbal sleep aid too for a couple of nights too.0
