  • A STS for me, actually it's a small gain but only the small amount over the half that I didn't count last week. Need to have a better week this week, I've struggled for will power.....

Well done to all the STS'ers and losers :D

I have been trying to be extra good the rest of the week so I'm happy it paid off. We'll done all losers and sts. I'm off to try on the test jeans now ;)

Groan..I ate chocolate last night (first bar of 2014!), and my stomach's not thanking me for it today. And to rub in my folly even more, I accidentally bought the wrong kind, but ate it anyway :o
Long-termers on here will know the only type I crave is popping candy choc...I was in the sweetie aisle when work phoned me, I must have been distracted because I brought home a different flavour, it's not the same, I may give what's left to DS2.

Another weekend already...must do better this weekend. think I'll be eating on my own, so no excuses.
To try and inspire me to be good over the weekend, I was contemplating my goals at work today (in my head, not out loud :)), it's easy to forget why I want to do this.

One of my main aims when I started on this thread was to get back to the weight I was in 2010/2011. Back then I enjoyed shopping for clothes, I wore fitted tops, tight trousers, short(ish) skirts, and sometimes even high heels and dresses. I felt good and I thought I looked good. (I suppose it helped that I had an OH who told me I looked great)
Now I wear jeans all the time (usually baggy because they're from when I was bigger), and fleeces. I think of myself as too overweight to wear any of those nice things.

So how much do I need to lose to get back to that marvellous happy weight?
4 pounds! Yes, only 4 pounds of difference!

It just shows me how much of this weight loss malarkey is mental...I now have this "overweight mentality" that thinks I'm not slim enough to wear nice things. I think I'll look out my old jeans and tops this afternoon and try them on.

Surely 4 pounds can't make that much of a difference?
Unless of course, they are the "magic 4 pounds" that will drop me 2 dress sizes and banish all the flabby bits :rotfl:

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
  • Its an STS for me this week. After a 3 course meal for DS2's birthday last Friday and sharing a box of leftover Christmas chocs with DH over the weekend an STS is a relief.

Finally, finally, -1lb. Thought I was never going to say that again! Please let it stay off, it went down on Monday and stayed down all week so it feels like a real loss. Just hope I can manage a few more!
