Was 83.3 Kg, today in spite of bread binge am 82.7 Kg so I lost 600g/1.32lbs. Can't complain really. Just making up for my earlier week of madness but going in the right direction at least.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

STS again this week (which actually translates as put a pound on and then lost it again within the week :o)
The needle on the scales is starting to flicker down the way though, so hopeful that it will soon start moving downwards.

    Good luck weighing in everyone.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

Dinner was meant to be a stew and potatoes...I'm still an amateur with the slow cooker and don't really know what I'm doing yet. I put some beef and a big pile of veg in the cooker, making sure I cut the bits up smaller than I would if using a pot, with almost boiled water. It was on from 8am, and the veg was still pretty hard at 5.30pm.
So a last minute panic what to have..Ds suggested pizza and I didn't argue :o The potatoes were ready, so they're in the fridge.
Anyone know where I'm going wrong?
I have found that unless I use frozen veg the only way I can get around hard veg is to part cook it first. Its strange how the meat cooks but not the veg. I use the water from cooking the veg to add to the SC so don't loose any goodness. Hope that helps :)
  • -5lb this week please knit witch thank you :) Now 13.3
  • Well after me being off sick for all of last week and not eating properly its no surprise that I gained 1 pound but think I have got off quite lightly (pardon the pun). Still struggling with energy levels so hopefully I will feel better and can get back to some normality next week.
That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

  • -2lbs for me (one this week and one last). Sorry I wasn't here last week but a friend passed away a couple of weeka ago and we had the memorial service last week - it was a tough time. She was just over 40 and leaves 4 children. I just needed time to think and sort of forgot about the internet for a while.

I am now quite close to my goal. I have set a revised one for the end of June in my head now.

Has anyone got advice on what weight to aim for as a final thing. Initially I wanted to get my bmi to the "normal" catergory as I felt that was a good goal. I've done that now and thought I'd like to loose some more but where do you stop. I need to find a weight I could maintain at without needing to be on a permanent diet if that makes sense. Since I started loosing weight about 2 years ago, I have now added regular exercise into my lifestyle and think some of the good eating habits will stick as I've found lots of good things I like eating and will continue to eat on a regular basis.
