Very late tonight, babysitting DGS 2.
KnitWitch....speedy recovery.
Today I have eaten:
B....small serving porridge cooked with an apple and a pear, topped with honey and ginger, tea;
L....2 sls raisin bread/butter, tea;
D....roast chicken, sweet potato, turnip, carrot, last sm piece Christmas cake, half tinned peach;
Sn....3 triangles Toblerone, 2 pieces fudge.

I understand that completely!
My DF used to do things like that...he always found the two "stuck together", he would have a second sweetie "just to make sure he liked them", and on christmas day he would get out a ruler to measure the icing on the christmas cake, so he got the thickest piece...all in fun just to wind up his grandchildren
and I wonder where I get my bad food habits from...:o

Back at work today blurgh!!!!!
I had prepared myself some carrot sticks and hummous as a snack and ive left them at homeoh well if im hungry later ill have them when i get in from college
B: Porridge with 1/2 ss milk 1/2 water, blueberries
S: banana, small handful of nuts
L: HM hairy dieters cottage pie, orange
S: 2 small apples
T: cheese sandwich, mini light baby bell & packet crips on my way to college
My work trousers are literally cutting my fat belly in two todayI may have lost 4lbs but im still along way off fitting into my clothes properly
Oh when i went to voulenteer at college last night one of the students had baked a cake! I had a very small slice to be polite

Been off with a virus for the past week and only just getting my appetite back not really been eating dinner as I am not hungry/ready for bed but making sure I eat breakfast and a large lunch so at least I have food inside me.
Today:

L: Two corn beef & pickle subs, a banana & half pack crispsIf I can manage it Bolognaise
Going to have to make myself get back into a regular healthier eating plan as my diet has been appalling over the past week and half. *slaps hand*That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Couldn't decide what to have for tea tonight so ended up making porridge with half milk and half water, added some sultanas, flaked almonds, couple of cashews broken up into bits and cinnamon...........it was bloomin loverly!

Evening All,
I've cracked how to go to Wetherspoons for their steak night and come away without blowing all your good works :beer:
I went on Tues night with beloved and son,... We ordered 3 steaks - 2 large and a small one for me... Onion rings and whisky sauce... chicken bits and blue cheese sauce and haggis with whisky sauce and I had to order one apple crumble with custard... I love it and it's my little treat...... :T and a bottle of wine (I don't really like it... I don't know why I order it)
Anyway, the food was brought and I had to rush to the loo...(My problem again... but never mind !!!!) When I got back they had munched through all the onion rings and the chicken thingies and then looked at me and asked me if I had wanted any !!!To which I replied, Of course not ..... :A
A little later on, I had to run again... so when I came back this time, my plate had been lifted along with theirs... They thought I had finished !!! so I had only eaten 2 chips....I had started with the steak and was looking forward to the chips....
But never mind, I had my apple crumble to look forward to.... and it was brought..... :j:j:j So my son and beloved asked me if I was going to eat it all to myself, so I replied..... Of course not.... so I passed the plate to them.... Yes, they ate all the custard and I was left with a spoon and a half of crumble.... :A

D....sm serving chicken breast, carrots, turnip, parsnip, large beetroot, broccoli, dessertspoon cream cheese;
Sn....sm choc bar, cappuccino, yoghurt, sm chicken sandwich, water.

My OH is coming to visit this weekend, which means probably a gain next week! My OH is quite stubborn when it comes to food - we often disagree. For example, if we're on a day trip, I will happily grab a sandwich and eat it on a bench, while he wants to eat in a proper cafe with all the trimmings. Then I will want to have all the trimmings too. And he also insists on popcorn in the cinema, while I would normally pass on the over-priced 1800 calorie popcorn!
I will have to be quite careful/firm this weekend to avoid a gain. I am going to show off my new curry making skills (have been attending a course) which we can have instead of take-away one night, and I can probably pick out a healthy restaurant too!0 -

T - leftover chilli with new potato
S - banana, melon, ice cream
Must start to eat properly, been very bitty lately0
