  • Good morning, all

I must get motivated.... I must get motivated .... I must get motivated....

I seem to be going back into my bad habit of believing I have to offer food for everything... I was better in my lonely life, where I had total control of what I ate .. or didn't eat ... while hubby was at work...

Now that my son is back in my life and my husband has retired (but works for my son), they are coming in during the day and at tea-time so I am cooking for them and then eating with them.. I don't need this extra food... I am in danger of putting on all the weight I have lost... so I have to just wait at the table for them... and keep myself busy while they are eating....

    That's the plan......

    Have a good day....

    Hi all

Where is everyone? Hope your all not nibbling naughty treats in dark corners ;)

Im off work today and going to see my friend later, we were going to go out for food but as she is 4 weeks away from havin her second child she is tired and asked if i can go round and we can get takeout instead so  but will at least try and be good!

I was going to do the 30 day shred today but i really cant be bothered I know thats not the attitude to have but i cant snap out of it so think any effort to do the dvd will be half hearted and a waste of time- must try harder tomorrow

    Today:

B: 2 wholemeal toast with butter, 2 eggs scrambled
L: 2 wholemeal bread with butter and lo roast chicken
S: HM apple & blackberry crumble with greek yog
    T: some kind of takeaway

I have been out shopping today and done abit of housework/ironing so maybe a couple of calories burned there (clutching at straws? me? never :rotfl:)

    Have a good one :)

I think clutching at straws uses up loads of calories as well savesummore :rotfl:

officeguru I'm doing my best to remotivate myself as well. I haven't lost anything in January, so today is day 1 yet again!
I've had builders in off and on the last few weeks, and made them lots of cups of tea, with biscuits and home baking, of course...and guess who's started eating it too :o...and I never usually bother with biscuits. It's so easy to slip back into bad habits.

At least my builders aren't permanent, you have a bigger problem with family...it's very hard to serve up food and not eat it yourself. You could leave them to serve up their own, but then mealtimes are a nice time to get together...good luck deciding what to do! I often just give DS1 a much bigger portion of the same food, or give him an extra course.

So far today I've had muesli, then porridge, and planning hm potato soup with warm rolls for tea mmm :)
Also forced myself to go for a walk.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
