Hi, sts again for me. Trying to be positive.
Sue14 - I've shrunk 2 inches in the last couple of years too and I've been walking every day. I've half joked with my children that I'm not going to die I'm just going to disappear! Unfortunately it does mean having to lose more weight than I originally thought and at the moment that doesn't look likely.
But once again, I'll just keep keeping on. Well done everyone.0 -
Bah weekends are hard!
B+L 2x bacon, beans, poached egg and 2 small slices WM toast
T HM meat and potato pasty and oven chips
S nothing yet but probably HM flapjack and fruit0 -
Hi knit witch,
Sorry I am late in posting but I STS this week...
It's the first time in years that my son has taken us out to eat, which happened several times this week and I am afraid that I enjoyed being in his company so much that I ordered desserts as well.... hmmmm.... No regrets, though as it will be back to normal next week...
Well done everyone who has lost weight.0 -

My jeans have kept falling down today told grandson must be cos Ive lost weight " no Gu I think its because your tummy is pushing them down" was the reply. Oh well keep trying :rotfl:
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
you've got to love them, haven't you!
I've just made the overweight category on my BMI today, I started out morbidly obese :j Not sure if it's normal to be so excited over being classed overweight
Perfectly normal, and definitely worth celebrating...just think, you'll never be obese again :T
However it turns out that I'm apparently about 3 inches shorter than I thought I was! I was measured by the nurse a few years ago, when I worked in a doctor's surgery, and she told me I was 5' 3", but yesterday I was just about 5', it must be all the walking I'm doing, it's worn my legs down, lol!
 never thought I had to double check my height, I'm still using the height I was when I left school (and that was a long long time ago!)
Sue14, maybe you should get a second, or third, opinion, 3" is a big discrepancy...get the ruler and the tape measure out, and get against the door frame
I've overdone it today, not with my meals, but extra cake. I bought a big chocolate swiss roll because it was reduced to 10p. I wouldn't have bought it at the full price, so why did I think I needed it when it was cheap? In a way, I'm letting the supermarket decide what I eat!
Repeat..."just because it's cheap doesn't mean you need to eat it..."
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Evening everyone
How bad is this weather.....cold, wet and windy = comfort food!
B 3 crispbreads
L Bread bun filled with ham & mayo
T Mince & dumplings
Made the mince in the slowcooker and it was bloomin loverly!! Added lentils and potatoes to bulk it out so it made 6 portions. I tried ever so hard to limit how much I ate, even used a small cereal bowl but ended up going back for seconds:o
I've portioned the remainder and promise it will go in freezer before I go to bed tonight :A0 -
Ok, faced the Christmas damage, am 84.3 Kg (13st. 4lbs).
I am chasing the elusive 79.9 Kg (12st 8lbs).
So can I be put in the challenge for 10 lbs (have I done the maths right?) in 12 weeks, it should be feasible even for me. I hope.
Hi Knit Witch,
This is my original weight at the start of the challenge, 84.3 Kg
So far in total I have only lost 1 Kg as my weight on Friday was 83.3 Kg
Hope this helps!
Here is my day:
B. Mushroom omelette
S. Half a croissant (shared with my friend)
L. Chick pea curry and vege meatballs leftover mix, salad
S. Banana and walnut cake, later rye bread slice with bits of cheese
D. Steamed salmon and celery salad with mayo, roasted sweet potato, stewed red cabbage with apple, bowl of yogurt with a tsp orange marmalade. 1/2 glass white wine.
Overall not a diet day. Tomorrow hoping to be more careful esp about sugar consumption. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Wow - over 15st lost in the last month! Well done everyone :T:T
I am starting to find myself craving some bad foods - chips/Chinese/chewy sweets. Trying to find things to satisfy the cravings. I'm trying some fruity herbal teas after dinner, and slicing up potatoes to bake them. Any other things people try?0 -
Minicooper I eat frozen raspberries, and other frozen fruits (Asda smartprice is quite nice but not the apple pieces). I think my body thinks they are sweets, and I tend to have them in the evenings when I want something sweet.
I really don't think I should be giving advice at the moment though as Im failing miserably at the moment:o0 -

Homemade meringues with fresh fruit and a dollop of creme fraiche.
what unprocessed desserts do you have?
