  • Minus 0.5lb for me, actually a touch more but that'll do. I'm pleased with that, it's not been a great week x

    Hi all

-1lb for me please- im both shocked and very happy about this as its not been a great week

I watched that horizen programme and am just not buying everything they are saying I think they made the fat diet extra unheathly by no allowing f&V and the sugar diet more heatlhy by allowing the F&V

I think what can be taken from the programme is to eat a balanced diet with very limited processed food but I think we all knew that anyway (the hard part is doin it!)

I feel really hungry again today need to get this under control more protein maybe? More sleep?

Am very glad its Friday- work today as per usual and then voulenterring again tonight so probably wont be home until about 10! Not sure how long i can keep this up for

    Be good all

Lost 5lbs this month! So pleased, had kind of hoped for more, but I have drunk a lot. So planning 15 NBDs (No booze days) and 15 Runs to be completed in Feb.

STS again. Bit frustrating. However the walking is going really well and I'm upping next week's steps from the originally-planned 5000 to 5500 on five days.

  • -7lb please
Not too excited as we all know the first week is the easiest. Although that does mean Ive lost 3/4 of a stone this month. The other 1/4 was lost just by packing in alcohol :) The challenge now is to keep it off next week & some more!
  • STS for me - but better than I expected so I'm not unhappy

It was shocking how close to diabetes he was.
The part that jumped out at me was when they were doing tests with lab rats, and when they gave them food which was a fat and sugar combination they said "the rats had no off switch"...
well now we know why we can't resist chocolate and cake!
(actually, I don't know, why does that combination of food affect us like that?)

I suppose if you have to be born as a lab rat, being one with an unlimited supply of cheesecake is a good deal :-)

    !

I am a devil for my sweet things, I could eat cake all day! So I have been giving some thought to other sweet things that are not processed but satisfy.
Homemade meringues with fresh fruit and a dollop of creme fraiche.

what unprocessed desserts do you have?
