  • I attended a curry cookery class last night and made a curry with chillies on it. I think they kicked in around 3am this morning, I woke up absolutely roasting :eek: I am hoping it's a sign my metabolism was in full swing, and not a sign i'm ill.

    Not long to weigh in day, wonder how i've done this week.

    9pm tonight on bbc 2 - Horizon, fat v sugar.

    might be interesting given the slating sugar's been getting recently.

    A good day foodwise, but not much exercise.
    Now sitting hemming a VERY wide pair of curtains by hand, at least it's keeping my hands too busy to eat :)

    If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

    Evening all,

    Finding it tough going...decided today not to eat until ravenous, so this was how it went:

    Midmorning....slice light fruit cake ( at knitting club), tea;

    3pm ....sm slice fruit cake;

    D...large baked potato with cream cheese, large serving stir fried veg, sm helping chilli smoked salmon.

    Sn...2 clementines

    Must admit that I can now see the 2 problems holding me back.......not having my 5 a day often enough, not being active enough....hopefully having identified the demons I can soon attack them.

    Good luck everybody

    A slightly better day today - until I did a late night shop!

    B - slept through it
    D - last of the lamb casserole. Thank goodness, was getting very boring. 4 baby potatoes and cauliflower
    T - missed
    Supper - did a late night shop in Mr M, part of the haul was 5 slices of ham with a stuffing crust. I had a slice with hm wm bread and English mustard, it was so good - naughty, but good ;)
    Snack - tiny satsuma, stick celery
    E - thought I'd better start getting fit for when the treadmill arrives so did 10 mins step on stairs and washed the kitchen floor on my hands and knees - jiggered!

    Sweet dreams :)

    No spoiler alerts but we have recorded it. I'm saying sugar, hubby is saying fat.

    I have that same job to do with curtains, by hand. Not looking forward to it!!
    Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!

    Thanks for this - interesting results! Personally would have liked to see the high sugar diet without the fruits...

    I weighed on this morning -1.5 lbs this week! I've eaten very little ready-made food, added a little more walking, fewer snacks -seems to be working! Now on 9.5lbs/14lbs.
