I am not really bothered by the calories in seeded bread - the difference isn't big enough to really worry me. I'd much prefer to enjoy my food, and sacrifice a bit of the filling instead to make up for it. It is high though, it does add up if you eat a lot of bread! It's not so bad for 2-3 slices a day.0 -
Quite a good day, felt a bit more energetic so DD and I had a day out, just pottering around the local shops but I don't think we left any out!
B - fresh pineapple
L - jacket with pulled pork and cheese, salad
T - slice hm wm 1/2 with peanut butter, 1/2 with apricot jam
S - satsuma, 1/2 stick celery, a few carrot batons
E - nothing more than window shopping. But I've been fortunate enough to be given a very fancy treadmill which is being delivered on Saturday so I will have absolutely no excuse not to do some exercise every day!
Sweet dreams0 -

Really not looking forward to this weeks weigh in. Have had a cold since last Saturday, making all wrong choices. Eaten far too much bread and the odd choccie bar:oLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0

Recommendations for a healthy breakfast ? I have had porridge for 2 months now, and I AM SO BORED OF IT. I'd rather not eat than eat it again.
It needs to be as filling as porridge though because I'm a snacker and porridge was keeping hunger at bay.
Oh and something I can take to work.0 -

Same here, Northwest
The weather, fighting a cold, and hormones are making me reach for the chocolate and carbs. I guess we can only do what we can do, not beat ourselves up over it, then try again when we can manage it.
Part of my problem is once I feel like Ive lost a bit then it's harder to find the motivation to keep going. But at 13ish stone, 5ft 6 and a large size 16 I could really do with losing more, once and for all:p
Thank goodness this challenge is 12 weeks:cool:0 -

I like a tablespoon (approx, I just shake it in the bowl) of muesli with F&F and chopped prunes or banana on top. Very filling, if I have that at 8am I don't want to eat again to mid afternoon. Transport the milk in a small flask.
You could chop some fruit - orange/satsuma/grapes/plums/mango/raisins/whatever you like that doesn't go soggy or brown, then you can pick through the day at work to your hearts content. You can add some to a tub of ff plain yogurt making it easy to transport. hth0
