They do smell tempting, don't they?
I find personally that the smell and the anticipation is the best thing about chip shop chips...in reality, they're often quite greasy and soggy, and don't deserve all the mental drooling I've done.
You know you're in the right frame of mind when you can throw half the portion away :rotfl:

Oh see sometimes I don't care what the chips are like, I just buy them because I love the chip shop sauce they put on them. Thankfully none of the chip shops near me stock that sauce, so I'm safe! I'll maybe treat myself to a bag when I'm near the one I like in March.0 -

Another day when I'm out to lunch again ,but yesterday went quite well as I had chicken when I was out with my friend. Today I am out with U3A at our luncheon club, and we are going to the local catering college so I'm not too sure what will be on the menu yet.
Breakfast this morning will be porridge made with water and skimmed milk
Lunch ??? Fingers crossed it will be something low calorie at least:):)
Light supper tonight :probably some soup as last night.I made gallons of carrot and coriander on Sunday and I like that with some Ryvita crunched up on top.0 -

Lunch was very nice and luckily rather on the small side (haute Cuisine don'tcha know
:):))
Carrot and ginger soup with a dash of yoghurt swirled around in it
small square of Hake with brocolli (one thin spear ),green beans (six tiny ones) and capers with tiny half a diced potato with a tomatoey sauce over it
White chocolate creme brulee with raspberrys and a tiny almond biscuit.
Pretty nice lunch but no where near filling:):) but at £6.50 including coffee I'm not complaining and it gives the youngsters a chance to test their meals on paying folk.:):)The catering dept at the local college put these lunches on at various intervals.
Tonight is Quiz night so its unknown what will be dished up.I'm feeling a bit hollow at the moment so I'll wait until I see whats at the pub to eat with the quiz as at £2.00 the supper is thrown in for free:):)
Diet nurse tomorrow and weigh-in at the clinic:) fingers crossed
