Sorry I'm late checking in - 2 lbs off this week:)
  • Congratulations daisiegg!

I just am not doing it. I do 2 or 3 really good days, then go off track and eat loads of crap. So all I do is yo-yo. I think setting too high a target hasn't helped, I'm so far off track with it that I find myself avoiding coming and posting because I'm failing :(

oh and we are 22.69% of the way to this challenge's target (a little behind as we would like to be at 25% :o)
    Must use my stash up!
  • I'm afraid I'm going to set us back further as I've gained back my 2.5 lost so far :(

Flamingo - why not set yourself a small target, maybe just 5lb or something, and if you achieve that you will feel better about yourself and you can always set yourself another target after that. It might just feel so big a target that it makes you feel you are bound to fail. You're not a failure anyway, just struggling like we all do :)

Also trying to get back on track :)

Yesterday and today have been much better...I've decided not to beat myself up about last week, and not to be really strict this week to try and catch up...I'm just starting again and eating my normal diet amounts, it's too wet and cold and miserable to be too strict, and my back's giving me a lot of pain right now which gets me down.

Of course, having said all that, I have another celebration meal tomorrow night...takeaway this time :o I was thinking maybe chicken kebab wouldn't be too bad?, it's just chicken and salad, I don't eat the pitta bread, but may have some chips. Or is pizza better, any takeaway experts out there?
And the wine doesn't count, does it, cos it's liquid :)

    Today I had
    B; muesli, ss milk
L: 2 slices toast with low cal spread, a few crisps from a big bag (weighed!)
D: sausage casserole.. one sausage, lots of veg, new potatoes

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
  • I walked past a chip shop at the weekend and now can't get chip shop chips out of my mind. Why do they have to smell so tempting?

I'm continuing to try to scare myself into eating healthier. I keep seeing recommendations to eat wholegrain bread, but I'm not sure whether this would be better than my fav. seeded white batch, as surely the seeds do some good too?
  • After a fairly naughty weekend, back to it today

    B wholemeal toast with butter
    L cuppa soup
T a bowl of HM chilli
S banana, caramel shortbread made by DD1 (a small treat :))
Going to force myself to go for a walk tomorrow, don't feel like it tonight
