2 lb loss for me. Had a much better week after last week of STS. I also have lost another inch from tum which I consider equally important. I have stopped eating potatoes apart from putting the odd one in to thicken soups when I make them. I do mostly eat Sweet Potatoes but now have an extra portion of green veg to replace them. I keep making small changes to my diet and next I want to cut out the roll I have with my soup at lunchtime so that I am only having bread at breakfast. Good luck to everyone. :)

B- Toasted Muffin and a Satsuma
L- HM Carrot and Lentil Soup and a Satsuma
D- Sausages with Cauliflower, Broccoli and Green Beans.

Oh my goodness, is it Friday already?

I can't weigh in this week, no scales as I'm not at home...and quite frankly I don't want to! It seems I can only manage to diet when I'm at home, add in some extra stresses and a change of routine, and dieting just goes out the window and I eat more.

I've not gone crazy, but had bigger portions and some desserts...and I've eaten more biscuits this week than I did in the whole of last year!

Tbh I don't know why I ever try to diet in January, there's always a lot going on, and a lot of birthday celebrations as well. It's worse than christmas week, and I want to enjoy the celebration meals, not constantly feel bad that I've overdone it.
So I'm writing off this week, and probably most of next week as well, and trying not to feel guilty about it...I'll get back to it when life gets back to normal.

(and...*whisper it*...it's been lovely to feel "full" this week :-) )

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

Ashamed but not surprised to report a 2lb increase! Some major blips this week, mostly in the crisp department. Gonna have to go cold turkey again on them, because when I did was when I was losing weight. Still - 1lb for the challenge tho. Onwards and upwards (downwards!!!)
    Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):

    Total:£7564.11/£10 000 (as at 26/10/14)
  • 0.4lb loss for me please. This is painful.

Need more of an effort on the movement front.
  • Loss of 2.5lbs for me think some of this is down to the water that I retained last week but I am still happy about the number. Have worn my jeans (which are still a bit tight) to work today to remind me that just cause I have had a decent weight loss doesn't mean I can stuff my face with junk which is what I have done in the past whether I am hungry or not (self-sabotage!) I'm don't feel like I am on a diet as I'm still eating what I want just cutting down portions and switching to herbals teas and sugar free squash. I feel amazing, just goes to show that just little changes can make a bit difference.

    Food today:

B: slice HM Banana Bread with butter and Mocha
L: 1 slice toast and beans
    D: Spaghetti Bolognaise
That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
