OMG! Weigh-in day tomorrow! Thank you flamingo747 for reminder! First thing in the morning I tend to drink a large mugful of tea which probably adds nearly 1 lb to my weight, will stay off tea tomorrow until weight taken.
Here's me today:
B. mushroom peppers onions and parsley omelette
L. fish and chips minus the chips, instead I had salad (lettuce tomato beetroot sweetcorn and coleslaw)
D. 1 and a half bowls lentil and vegetable soup, tomato and avocado salad.
Craving something to eat now, so am going to make myself a cup of camomile tea. So far so OFF THE CHEESE so I shall studiedly avoid the fridge as today is a NO CHEESE day (my downfall for overeating).
Also I am quite proud to have been off the sugar (cakes, biscuits etc) for a while now, I feel that if I can conquer the cravings they eventually go and these foods return to be just what they are supposed to be: occasional treats.
Good night allFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Been reading this

It is very interesting, if a bit science heavy for my unscientific brain. Goes into great detail about what unhealthy eating actually does to your body on a biological level. It is a bit depressing in that it sort of concludes that there is little we can do about the obesity crisis unless the government begin to legislate about what is put in our food.
Won't quote the whole post but this looks really interesting - I've seen a couple of documentaries that have been scaring me off of some of the bad stuff, so might give this a go too. It's shocking how much sugar is snuck into our food... Not sure that the government will ever legislate it though, there's too much profit to be made...
I've been doing really well lately, and I'm not really craving much. I hope it stays this way though! I'm pretty confident I've lost this week, just need to wait til morning to weigh myself.0 -
A bitty food day today, got up too late to have breakfast and had to rush to go and visit DM
L - 2 eggs, chips.
T - egg on 1/2 slice toast, on the other half
S - 2 tiny satsumas, stick of celery, handful of nuts
Stressful drive on 3 m-ways in pouring rain, saw 3 shunts - when are people going to learn to keep their distance? With respect I find women are the worst, they seem to need to sit on your tail. No-one here does that, of course

STS for me this week
No excuses, just have not tried hard enough. I went away for a few days at the beginning of the week but I walked masses and ate very healthily. Since I have been home my eating has increased slightly. Never mind it could be worse. Good luck to everyone.
