  • -1 for me this week please

Trousers are feeling comfortable again :-)

Well done to all for sticking with it :-)
  • A loss of 1 lb = fine my me. Target is now 0.5lbs a week as BMI is now normal!

I am 5'10 so tall and pear shaped. At my largest I was size 20 and 15 stone something. The trouble is I want to be a size 12 but I've never been a 12 in my adult life. This last push is really hard.

Not sure how much I have lost this week but I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 4 lbs this year. Now 12 stones 8.

    Today I've eaten:
small bowl of shreddies with soya milk

small bowl of last night's chicken and veg casserole and one slice of HM bread

pork chops, potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and cauliflower
lychee and strawberry cake (can you tell I had tea at my mums?!)

A very early weigh in for Saturday - a bout of insomnia has struck and I thought I might as well get up for a while.
4lb off this week - I think that makes it 5 in total.
I know most of that will be fluid, but there must be the odd gram of fat gone too!! So, quite pleased with that:)

At last... I can contribute one tiny pound to the huge target we have set ourselves.
*Finally* I have a loss of 1lb, I thought it was never going to happen :)

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

A loss of 1lb for me this week. Not great but at least I've lost and it can give me a kick up the bum for next week

1/2lb loss for me which I'm happy with after being away last weekend and drinking a bit too much wine :o

All the peeps who aren't happy with 1/2lb or 1lb loss this week - add it up and it's 26, or 52lbs! over a year. Better taking it off slowly that putting any on :D

    B - spicy fruity porridge
D - second half of yesterday beef casserole, apple and greek yogurt for pud
T - slice hm wm bread with lf spread, 1/2 with rf cheese & vegemite, 1/2 with scrape of apricot jam. Bm makes lovely tall loaves so one slice easily does two portions
S - satsuma, apple, last manky banana but I refuse to buy any more fruit til the bowl is empty. Maybe stick of celery if peckish.

Have a good rest of the day :)

Could I please join in with you all?

My current weight is 13st 4.6lb and I am very unfit.

I have considered trying many of the different types of diets out there but there is so much disagreement about what works if anything.

I know that eating less, eating more healthily and moving more works for most people so I'm going to try that and lose the weight slowly.

My target weight is about 9 stone - maybe more. When my weight was last stable I was around 8 stone, but that was so many years ago. I don't think that would suit me now.

As I have over 4 stone to lose it will take me some time. I will make small changes and lose small amounts to start as if it's too hard I will just give up.

My aim is to cook from scratch, eat very few processed foods (eg crispbread and some cheese) and cut down on the meat I eat. I don't like pasta so I find many vegetarian recipes are out - although I could just use the sauces I suppose.
I will drink more water - I have cut out the caffeine after 4pm so that will go back to lunchtime now.

I am going to start a (personal) walking programme today.
Because of my commitments during the day I have to walk in the evenings so it is dark. It means I cannot walk around some of the prettier places yet - they are also waterlogged now. I am looking forward to the days getting longer so that I can enjoy the scenery as I walk.

I will also be doing some core strength exercises and when I can at least do the basics I will go back to Pilates. I would also love to try Zumba but I'm not fit enough to last for 5 minutes.
That can be my aim for April - to be fit enough to join a Zumba Class.

I hope to lose about a pound a week.

    You are all so inspiring.

Welcome to the group Tryingagainandagain :D, are you wanting to join in the challenge?
