    Afternoon all

Gosh Im tired after such a long day yesterday- but I really enjoyed my voulentering :)

Ive eaten a load a cr*p so far today :o

B: Sausage sandwich on white bread (2 grilled sausages)
S: 2 slices toasted fruit loaf & butter
L: Bowl museli with s/s milk

Im still really hungry think its all the simple carbs!

T: will be oven roasted chicken with nandos sauce, rice, salad and 1/2 wholemeal bagette

Im more than like going to give in to a snack later..........and maybe a small drink or two!! :D

I second what Sparrer says about losing 1/2 or 1 lb a week- I know no-one wants to hear it but its much better for weight to come off slowing as your more likely to keep it off (erm not me though boo!) and its teaches you long term heathly eating :)
    O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)
  • Having to report an STS again. Have to say that I've been feeling pretty sorry for myself this week as I tripped and fell on the garden path last sunday. As I'm not exactly sylphlike I went with a bit of a crash and I've been nursing very sore and bruised knees all week. Fortunatlely nothing broken.
Anyway feeling much better now and trying to make better choices. So today will be
    B. Porridge
    L. Meatballs in gravy, kale, runner beans and onion
    T. Chicken salad, crackers
    S. Fruit
Exercise. None still can't manage that
Hoping for a loss next week

All the peeps who aren't happy with 1/2lb or 1lb loss this week - add it up and it's 26, or 52lbs! over a year. Better taking it off slowly that putting any on :D

I couldn't agree more, as a long time yo yo dieter I certainly feel more confident than ever that I will keep it off this time, as it has come off slowly and I'm getting better educated in what my body needs.

Pleased to report a 2lb loss this week, so only 2 more of the Christmas pounds to lose now. We treated ourselves to some new bathroom scales this week, which weigh in fractions of a pound and also track your weight, showing your start weight, the last weight and your current weight, and also tells you if your weight has gone up or down since the last weigh-in and by how much. I'm hoping not to see the 'up' arrow, lol!

    Today:
B bran flakes with sultanas and semi skimmed milk
L vegetable soup with 2 slices of bread
    S low fat cereal bar
E a bit of housework and a few minutes of squats while soup was cooking

Out to play cards with friends at MIL's tonight, so dinner will be a buffet type spread, and we also sometimes have sweets or nuts passed around while we're playing, but I am getting better at only taking one at a time instead of 3 or 4, lol!

Going into town tomorrow, as OH has to change a top that he bought a couple of weeks ago as he accidentally got a large instead of medium, so we will have quite a long walk around the shops while we are there.
    Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

  • Have been a bit more restrained with my eating today

    B cereal with SS milk
L boiled egg with one slice toast
T will be sausage, mash, gravy and sweetcorn on a side plate.

Daughter has made caramel shortbread so will have a small piece with a cup of tea later

Hi, wasn't going to bother to post! STS again. Sigh. Ah well.
  • Unfortunately only a loss of 1 for me - think I need to stick to it a bit more than I have this week :)
    Sealed Pot no 2011 :D
  • Definitely agree with sparrer - slower weight loss is more sustainable, so it's nothing to be sad about. I saw a really great first-week-of-the-diet loss, but will be really happy if I can now go on to sustain 1/2-1lb losses each week. It's only been a bit of water weight so far.

Taking this weekend to nosey around a few gyms, hoping to join one this week. I've become ridiculously unfit again :o
