    It's very exciting seeing everyone's weightloss :)

    Daisiegg fingers crossed for you.

Minicooper that's a great expression ' bottomless hunger'! That's what it feels like sometimes. Years ago I would eat loads of cereal to try to fill up thinking it was OK because it's low fat, then wonder why I couldn't lose weight. Eating some protein and a small amount of fats might help.

After a weekend with quite a few treats Im back on track now.

    L- broccoli & cauli soup
    D- prawn stir fry

Didn't manage any breakfast, but have drunk many teas, 2 decaf coffees and camomiles.

I have tried it and whilst I can manage a fairly low calorie diet, I find that to eat only 500 means either eating tiny amounts or eating most of the calories in one go which means a long time in between without food. I have tried it twice and both times it set off my IBS quite badly - could be a coincidence though. I will say it was quite easy to stay motivated knowing you could eat normally the next day, but as soon as I ate normally the next day, tummy was off. In laws have done it though and lost a fair bit of weight

Thank you islandhoppa, I don't think I could eat all the calorie allowance in one go, I'd be craving food the rest of the time and would be sure to give in!. Sorry it had an adverse effect on your ibs, my DM has it so I understand how difficult it can be

Very nearly had a 500 cal day until I noticed a sweet potato which needed using up so turned it into chips and added it to my dinner :o - was tasty though. If I don't stop eating and start moving 58 stones will be one of me

    B - spicy fruity porridge
D - egg salad, sweet potato chips
T - 3 crackerbread with vegemite, rf cheese, marmalade
S - melon, satsuma, handful nuts
E - can I count bathing my very long haired dog? Takes me 2 1/2 hours to bath, dry and groom him, almost feels like a day's labour! Had to clean/dry the bathroom and run the vac over the landing/stairs carpets to pick up the stray hairs. Also mended the side gate which the weather has almost destroyed, but can't afford a new one just now.

Enjoy the rest of the day :)
  • Need to vary my snacks rather than just eating fruit thought a nice alternative would be a mix of nuts plus dried fruit as still keeping it healthy.
I have 4 bags of various nuts (ranging between 400g - 500g a bag) 1kg bag of prunes and 4 herbal teas all for £37 from H&B due to the penny sale. This haul should last between 2-3 months but do you think it's too much to spend on just snacks for one person?
I have now successfully switched to herbal teas at work whoo hoo!

B: 1 slice toast with butter and marmite
S: Pear, Apple and fennel tea (had 4 of these throughout the day)
L: Cottage Pie, small tin of sweetcorn & small hot choc
    D HM Pizza
That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
