Hi all.......I have been missing in action for a long time, please can I rejoin?

Had a fantastic Christmas, new year and birthday, including three trips abroad and lots of eating and drinking....it was amazing and I don't regret it, but I have come back the heaviest I have ever been :o

So I need to get this back under control! Feels frustrating to be back at the same weight as I was last January. I then lost about 17 lbs for my wedding. And now have gained it all back! Doh.

Will you have me again? :o

    Hi Daisiegg

I thought you would have been way ahead of me by now... so it's nice to know that we are both starting again....

No, I suck at this :o I have no motivation anymore now I'm married! :o but I must do better purely for the sake of health.

    We can do it!

Does anyone of dired fruits are fattening? Just through instead of adding sweetener i'd add dried fruit instead.

Have found this, hope it helps, some are high in sugar:(

    Breakfast spicy fruity porridge
D - childs menu roast port dinner, 1 scoop ice cream with choc sauce
Supper - cup of tomato soup, crust of bread half in the soup half with vegemite
S - satsuma, carrot batons, diced stick of celery

56 stone, wow that's quite a goal, I'll be happy if I can shift one lb this week! Am on holiday from next Saturday but luckily the friend I'm staying with is a very sensible eater so I'm looking forward to lots of tasty, healthy meals. Except we're going out to a curry house the first night :o. She's also a walker, don't think I'll be tramping the moors with her but I'll certainly do my best to see some of the beautiful Yorkshire scenery, weather permitting.

    Sweet dreams :)

Have a good time, sparrer .... I hope the snow stays away for you tramping on the moors.. It has been a cold weekend up here... especially with the boiler packing in !!!

    Thank you :D

For once, I actually don't think I will join the challenge. The reason being, not to tempt fate but I really hope to be pregnant as soon as possible :o and if that happens, I will need to stop trying to lose weight. Until it happens (please let it happen!) I just want to lose as much as I can do healthily. So I will chat, post food diaries and weigh in on a Friday, but not as part of the challenge, if that is ok. Thanks! :)

  • Hi Everyone

Goodness only knows how but I've managed to lose 2lbs this week. I'm really struggling to get going with being healthy. I know what I want to eat, but I haven't cooked a proper meal in weeks, haven't done a proper shop since before Christmas and I've been to the gym once since new year. Baby steps are required, I've got another busy week this week but by next weekend I need to do a cupboard inventory and a meal plan.

I'm getting inspired by your motivation so hopefully some it will rub off on me soon!

    Best of luck hon!!

Dh is at the gym. I'm too scared to go as I'm epileptic and my last seizure was triggered by jogging. I'm scared when I'm out without dh, and have to wear my medical alert necklace whenever I do. It makes getting out and exercising harder. Does anyone else have similar issues?

Pleased to say i have lost 3.6lbs :j:j had a blip today and had lunch at brewers fayre, almost all of todays cals gone and only had quiche  990 cals apparantly plus had some pepsi but determined not to go back to drinking fizzy juice so have upped my exercise today to make up for the cals at lunch :D

Shopping done at both asda and aldi for more healthy foods/ingredients, bit more expensive than normal but in the long run its going to be worth it.
