Wow, I think you're superwoman, I'm feeling really lazy reading that
I had good intentions today and started cleaning the house...went to work for a couple of hours, and then sort of gave up on the housework
My DM has been questioning whether it's worth me going to work (it's variable hours and money) but I think I've more chance of getting something better when I'm already working, I couldn't even get interviews when I was unemployed. Bit depressing though, she wasn't really impressed when I wasn't working eitherAt least I'm doing *something*.
So today I've had
B: berry granola/muesli, semi skimmed milk
L: small plate of porridgecheese and onion quiche, a few lf oven chips, lots of veg... now having a small glass of wine
I love quiche, but it's high in calories...I really struggled to think of something which was very low cal for lunch to try and balance it up. To help I forced myself to go for a walk about 5pm, didn't really enjoy it because the pavements were getting quite slippy, but I do like how a walk makes you all nice and warm
I'd love to start snacking now, but am not going to. Like cheeswright I have several birthday meals and some time away this month coming up, so need to be "good" on the normal days.
I promise I will finish the housework tomorrow...does anyone ever *finish* it? there's always something else to do

Oh Ellie, I've been fancying hm cheese and onion quiche for days, my mouth is watering at the thought of your dinner. I can't remember the last time I made one as the family don't like it so of all things I don't know why it's quiche I fancy.0

Thank you for asking. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0 -

:rotfl: *zippy*
My DS doesn't really like quiche so I have it when he's not here, he's away this weekend. I've had half, and plan to have the other half tomorrow night with coleslaw and hm wedges.
Go on. you know you want to...let the family have something else...
(I'll come on here tomorrow night and make your mouth water again)

Is 30 Day Shred good?
I have a feeling I've got that in the back of the cupboard somewhere. I'm pretty sure I bought it, watched it and never did it!:(Moving to financial freedom!0 -
Hi, could I join the challenge please, I have said for bout a year now I want to lose weight but I didn't have the mind to do it and fell into bad food habits. Finally I have the mindset and my lovely husband is joining me which is motivating me more as he loses it faster:rotfl:
I would like to lose a stone, possibly more but I am hoping the first target will set me on the way.:o
I am enrolling on a pilates gentle exercise class as both DH and I are recovering from some injuries, which also means the exercise will be a little bit limited but I'm hoping small changes.0 -

Hi Purple kitten.
I'd love to hear how you get on with the pilates classes...my osteopath recommended I try it, but so far I've been a big coward!
Maybe next spring (although I said that last year...)

Sue14, you could always seal the tin back up again, make it harder to get the sweeties out.
Go on, get the sellotape out...and don't tell your OH, have him wondering what's going on...every time he goes for a sweet, the tin's resealed itself :rotfl:
Love it, lol! Actually it's only a small box, as I did resist buying the big tin this year, even though it is traditional for us to have one, lol! We have been having 3 each per day, and now have the last 2 each for tomorrow.savesummore wrote: »I have literally been on the go all day and am shattered now!! Later i will have a couple of white rum and diet cokes
You've worn me out just reading that, if you haven't burned a few calories there's no justice, lol! I'm on my third rum and diet coke at the moment, lol!
Well, despite the chocs, I've managed to stay under my calorie goal every day this week, apart from today, and this week I have lost 2lbs! Okay it's 2 of the pounds that I put on over Christmas, but I only have another 4 of those pounds to lose to get back on track.
OH and I have downloaded a tracker app to our new phones, and tomorrow we are (weather permitting), going for a walk to a park which is a couple of miles away from where we live, then we will walk around the park and then walk back home.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs
