Well done everyone. I weighed in this morning and have lost 6.5 pounds. That is since the 2nd Jan as I started earlier than some of you. I have more weight to lose too; around the 4 stone mark. But I am very pleased and hope it will set me up for a tough weekend ahead.
  • -2 for me, pleased as Sunday was totally off plan, and big loss last week.

  • -2lbs for me which is amazing given how much chocolate I;ve eaten. I know I am at my lowest weight for years. I've never been lighter than this other than when I was ill. I've never broken this weight and my BMI is normal at 24 ish so will anymore come off?
    Well done all

    Hiya,

Weighed myself this morning and have lost 4lbs which is par for the course when I go wheat free. The real challenge is going to be from now on because I know it will become much slower to lose anything.

Still, I've managed my 4000+ steps on four days so far this week and need to do another 4000+ today. Then next week, which starts tomorrow, I'm upping it to 4250+ steps a day on five of the seven days.

    Good luck everyone
    B x

Muddles, how are you getting on with your portion plate?

This is the one I got. I have only had it a couple of days but I am pleased with it. It is exactly how it looks in the picture. I know a lot of people use a side plate or maybe a childs plate but I wanted something that showed me visually how much to plate up as I have such a problem. If it retrains my mindset then it will have been worth it. My every day plates are oval shaped and to be honest not too big but I pile it on and use every inch. What I have been doing is plating it on the portion plate and then transferring to my normal plate. I did new potatoes yesterday with salad and fish and measured carefully. In the past I would have cooked over twice as much so already it is helping me. :)

  • Thanks Muddles, that's very helpful. Know what you mean about using every inch of space on a plate!
  • Wow! Look how well everyone has done!

S: Banana, 1 roses choc- these are at work and I really need to STOP eating them even if it is just 1 a day!
L: Salmon sandwich on medium wholemeal bread, carrot sticks, 2 x satsumas
S: apple and maybe 2 rice cakes if hungry
T: HM spicy pork meatball, hm pasta sauce n pasta

I may have a glass of wine with my tea!

This weekend im going to put abit more effort into sticking to my diet as i tend to go 'off the rails' at the weekend :o
