A better day today.
B porridge made with water
L slice of salmon quiche, roasted pepper, green veg, pineapple
D cauliflower cheese, leek, roasted parsnip, carrot, cabbage, orange.
Oh and a couple of tasters when I was wandering around Costco but they don't count do they?!
Do we weigh in on Friday or Saturday?
Weigh in day depends on you! Most people weigh in on Friday but others over the weekend - just let me know it IS your official weigh in and that is fineMust use my stash up!0 -
Not sure, do we post our weight weekly, and if so on what day? Getting mixed up, I am used to posting my weight on a Wed on the Weight Loss forum
It really depends on you - provided you let me know it IS your weigh in that is fine (some people go to diet clubs and so weigh in mid week)Must use my stash up!0 -

Greytcatlady wrote: »Good morning everyone. May I join you all please? I did weigh myself last Friday (4th) so could post a first update tomorrow and slip in. I've just dithered this week about joining , probably because it represents some accountability. But what have I got to lose apart from the obvious.
I'm a long time lurker and not new to MSE, just here with a different name after an absence. Not for any juicy reason but things just change don't they.
Anyway, my main issue is portions and just being a piggy. Savoury nibbles with an evening drinky has also been rather damaging. Thankfully there's only Christmas cake left but I don't have that much of a sweet tooth, it was the cheese biscuits that did for me!
So, I would like to drop 14lbs for this challenge. I aim to do this by eating less and moving more. They make it sound so easy.
Thank you.
Sparrer, so sorry about your cat. Losing a pet is horrid.:(
Got you down as well Greycatlady
This means we now want to lose 52 stone and 12 pounds :eek:Must use my stash up!0 -
I went to the pub for Knit and Natter last night and stayed off the Cider , if I don't drop a decent amount of weight in January I am going to be seriously :mad:Must use my stash up!0

Hi, having a hard week. I've been really "good" but it's not working. I put on 2lbs the day after the start of this challenge, lost one and then put it back on again. And I honestly haven't been pigging out. My clothes fit the same and my measurements are the same so I'm at a bit of a loss (I wish!). I don't want to drastically diet but after eating a little more over Christmas surely going back to my previous diet should take off the bit I put on over that period?
Just keep keeping on I suppose.0 -
Sparrer- So sorry about your cat
its heartbreaking to lose a pet
Pollybear- Id try not to weigh yourself more than once a week as your body weight can change day to day and you just end up living on a rollercoaster
In addition to what I posted yesterday I also ate a handful of nuts- Wed is a hard day foodwise as can only have sandwiches for tea on the way to college and end up starvin marvin by about 8:30pm
Today:
B: Porridge made with water and a splash of s/s milk
S: Banana, 1 roses choc
L: Tin of heniz tomato soup, 1 wholemeal toast-dry
S: 2 x satsumas, 2 fun size apples
T: Breaded fish with HM wedges & Peas
S: Muller light greek yog
Will do 30 day shred tonight
Im going to weigh in tomorrow morning  wish me luckO/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -

Really struggling not to binge today. Due to dh changing jobs we're really struggling financially with hundreds of pounds short fall coming up as benefits stop and we wait for his pay. Just sold fishtank for £30 towards this but the guy isn't happy and wants to return it. I just feel hopeless and like we're heading further and further into debt and we'll never get out of it
binging is my usual response to this sort of situation

Had a bad experience last night. I managed to scrape my new car (second hand, but new to us) up against the gate post last night
. Took it to get a quote this morning and it will cost £280 to get it like new, but we have decided to just get a touch up for the time being which will cost £40, with a view to a perfect fix at a later stage if necessary. I am so upset and angry with myself that I have vowed to OH to go crisp free based on £1 a day to pay for it as punishment! So today is day 1 of 40 days crisp free! Hoping it will also have an impact on my waist line!!
