Good luck everyone with this weekends weigh in
I'm not happy with todays stand on the scales, so I'll do a final weigh in tomorrow, give myself one more day to reach that target
Honestly, I'm doing my best, averaging 1250 - 1350 calories a day, and walking every day, so I'm not impressed that the scales are not shifting...I feel I deserve it for all the things I've deliberately NOT eaten :rotfl:

JackieO I think you have done amazingly well. You are an inspiration to us.
officeguru I sympathise with your situation. We had the same problem a year or two ago and it can be very stressfull and difficult
Very happy this week as I managed to lose 1lb in spite of the office party.
I have lost 19.5lbs since the beginning of the year. I'm really pleased with that. I know that its slow but its in the right direction.
Thank you knitwitch for all your hard work keeping track of us all. I'm glad you're feeling better.
I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful new year. I hope to see you all again in January.
Ps. is anyone else having a problem with the smilies0 -
Hi All
Just to let you know that the social worker has finally decided that my mother-in-law cannot go back to her house.. That she is too much at risk and too vunerable so she will have to go into a home... This has taken them about 2 years to come to this conclusion... so we will just have to wait and see if they will put her into a home near us so that I can visit... Keep your fingers crossed for me.... Meanwhile they are going to assess my father-in-law after the holidays so he will still be in hospital... Seemingly, they have to wait until he is settled before they can assess him... so keep you fingers crossed that he doesn't get sent back home on his own...
Have a great holiday.... I think I'll go and have some of my homemade lemoncello that I have put in the freezer.. Some visitors have said that it blows their head off, but I just find it pleasant... ha ha ha0 -
Hi chums well 1lb loss this week which was quite amazing as I two dinners out plus another at my friends where I'm sure I ate too much
:) but hey ho at least its off.No doubt some will creep on over the holidays but I will try my best to keep it to a minimum.
as I will be two-ing-and fro-ing between my DDs I won't be drinking as I'm driving so I shall save a few calories there:)
I had a lovely corned beef salad with a small jacket spud at lunchtime so I'm quite full so it will only be a light supper tonight.
officeguru it must be a relief to have the worry lightened a bit now although to take 2 years to access someone is just not on. Enjoy your lemoncello you richly desrve it
May I take this opportunity to wish you all a fantastic Christmas and a very Happy and peaceful New year (just in case I don't get the time over the next week or so,it gets quite hectic for me at times with the demands of the boys and keeping both of my DDs happy .I could really cut myself in half I think:)
Anyway I hope we all enjoy the holidays and eat sensibly the odd mince pie won't kill us and it is Christmas
Cheers chums

4lb loss for me please
Thank you knitwitch for doing the chart for us every week and thank you everyone for the company, I haven't posted much, but read every day x
I've lost just over 4st since I started.(I lost a bit before starting the challenge here). I'm still undecided what to do for Christmas, at the moment I'm think two days off and then back to it.
Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and New Year :xmassign::xmastree::xmassmile:santa2::rudolf:0 -
Well my plan didn't work...I'm *still* a STS...can you tell I'm getting frustrated, I just can't shift a pound even though I'm trying...so I missed my target by one pound!
Maybe I should carry on eating as I have been, but not expecting to lose anything, just hold steady over the holiday...
all ready for that new year enthusiasm to start again
I can't believe I've been here a whole year, how quick was that?
That's a sign of getting old, isn't it...when the years start passing faster and faster :rotfl:

it's an sts for me this week.
Saw the gp yesterday, he's stopped me doing any exercise at all as I now have labrynthitis, just given me a sheet on sitting down exercise to move my head/neck - hopefully my head will shrink (:o) and my neck will be swan-like at the end of all this!
Yesterday
B - F&F with chopped prunes
D - Cumberland sausage, cauli cheese, broccoli, 1/2 a jacket
T - 2 slices WW wm, rf cheese. tomato. 2 mini satsumas
S - melon, carrot batons, handful mixed nuts
Today -
B - fresh pineapple in rf Greek yogurt
rest of the day tba, taking a friend to Heathrow as she's emigrating to NZ. She chose the right day to remember the English weather by!
Have a sunny day whatever the weather0 -
Hi Folks,
It’s a STS for me too.
Sparrer, that’s a shame – a friend of mine had that, she was really quite dizzy and nauseous with it AND lost quite a bit of weight – not the way to do it methinks. Hope you are better soon.
I’m beginning to run out of fresh veg so sitting here debating when might be the best day to go - whether to run the gauntlet of the local supermarket today , get it over with and that will do me until after Christmas.
Wishing you all a very happy christmas.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £113.010 -
Afternoon. sts again this week but I'm pleased I've kept off the weight. So I only achieved 3 out of my hoped for 4 but that's still going the right way even if it's very slow. I just hope it won't be too hard over the next week. I do want a few treats because it does get very dull resisting them all year round, but I don't want to have an uphill struggle afterwards. Ah well, onwards and downwards
Thank you knit witch for all your hard work.
Well done everyone, and I hope we all have a Merry Christmas0 -
