I discovered something tonight...
hiding a bar of chocolate in the freezer in the shed doesn't work
even on a cold dark night
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
ellie would you hate it if I told you the coldest place here is my guest bedroom, and there are two large tins of chocs in there? And that they've been there since Mr M ran his 2 for £6 offer a couple of months ago?
<sparrer slinks off to drool over a Camembert in the fridge>
N2BT I hear you, clementines just won't do, it has to be satsumas. And they have to be loose, the nets always seems to have one or to soggy ones in, especially frustrating when they're 241!
Sue we believe you
B - F&F, Greek yogurt
D - grilled Cumberland sausage, 1/2 gammon steak, tomato, sautee'd mushrooms, dry-fried egg
T - 7 chestnuts. I grilled them, wonder if I can do them in the mw to save elec. Does anybody know?
S - melon, satsuma, carrot sticks. Muttley has decided he likes carrots so now we have to fight over them!
E - 2 bedrooms, bathroom, landing/stairs. Just finished putting up the dec's for sons visit this weekend

I can cope with chocolate I've bought for presents, I actually have several choc santas and boxes of chocs within reach right now...I'm never tempted to eat them because I'd have to replace them
I thought hiding *my* bar in the outside freezer until christmas would work...anyway, if I eat it now, I won't buy another for christmas (there's still two thirds of it in the freezer to tempt me).
I'd say I love cheese...but actually I love value mild cheddar
I'm not the slightest bit interested in *fancy* cheese.
Must stop thinking about food, it's too early in the morning

Morning All
Well I will start off with a confession – after what I consider to be a reasonably good day yesterday, in a moment of madness at approximately 10pm I decided to make fudge……yes fudge of all things, with all that sugar, syrup & condensed milk. I only needed 8 tblsps of the milk so……what could I do with the remainder in the tin but sit and eat it teaspoon by teaspoon
This morning I have some beautifully set fudge but it’s making my teeth ache just looking at it – so I’m off to cut it up and put it in the freezer and go searching for some pretty bags/boxes to pack up later and give it away.
Meal plan for the day =
B – Cinnamon & raisin porridge
L – Soup from the freezer
D – Last of the HM Doner Kebab & pitta lurking in the freezer, salad
S – Satsuma’s, Satsuma’s, Satsuma’s and definitely no fudge.
N2BT I hear you, clementines just won't do, it has to be satsumas. And they have to be loose, the nets always seems to have one or to soggy ones in, especially frustrating when they're 241!

Thank you Knit Witch :T and I hope you're feeling better now.
Isn't zippy doing well
Well, guess what I had for lunch...yep, the rest of the chocolate bar(nothing else though)
I'd much rather eat healthy food, but I'm really frustrated today, so succumbed...the work I've been doing, it's all arranged verbally, nothing in writing, and they're not paying me what we agreed on the phone...I spoke to the manager 2 weeks ago, and she "would get back to me", and now she's not even taking my calls. What a horrible way to run a business, not even speaking to staff to sort things out. A good way to make your staff feel valued...NOT!
I have a choice...take it or leave it...I want to stay, but every day I phone and don't get put through to speak to her makes me feel worse...I like things to be done *right*!

(((Hugs))) KW and ellie, hoping your health and work problems get sorted out soon, and in your favour
Out with DD today, usually Monday but neither of us felt up to much yesterday
B - F&F ff greek yogurt
D - pulled pork burger, salad and a few of DD's chips. Only ate 1/2 the bun otherwise it's far too much bread with potato too
T - WW granary sandwich with ff yogurt, tomato, rf cheese and baby spinach
S - 1/2 grapefruit. carrot sticks, handful mixed nuts
E - Out at 10am and shopped for 5 hours. Was exhausted looking for a mini tree, lights and dec's for DD. None of them were right for her, finally found one that suited at 3pm . Now to tackle a pile of ironing.
Enjoy the evening, sweet dreams later0
