Hi chums another 2lb off for me this week and on Wednesday I shall see my consultant and I am hoping he will be pleased with the progress I have made over the past three months.
I am hoping that my op. will be done in late spring of next year so that I will ba able to buy some nice summer things including 'proper bra's' for my summer holidays:):)
I am now 2st1lb lighter than I was at the end of August and I feel fantastic0 -
Very pleased to have lost 4lbs in my first week. Can do the zip up on a favourite pair of trousers now.Saving money right, left and centre0

Hi Folks,
Just ½ lb lost this week - getting there slowly.
Yes Sparrer I have been a bit lazy about recording my meals but now that the decorating is finished :j yay :j I can be a bit more organised and get back to proper menu planning - I’m really going to make a big effort over the next two weeks.
So today =
B – Ciabatta roll with bacon & egg (just cause I haven’t had one for ages)
L – Butternut Squash Soup
D – Beef Casserole, mashed swede, green beans.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Sept Grocery spends = £304.88
Oct - Grocery spends = £ 16.590 -
Hi. -1lb this week but I think that's fake and it will be back on tomorrow! I am so used to sts now that I don't trust it. We'll see where we are next week but I'll happily claim it for now!0

Am all over the place today as I've been scrubbing out a house for a friend who is moving - 7 scrubbers all in the bedroom at the same time - interesting! Got the whole job done in 5 hours and left the house sparkling
B - fresh cream sponge finger. Don't blame me, my friend provided it and it would have been churlish to refuse
L - missed
D - will be egg, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, sautee'd onion and toast
S - slice Stollen with my cuppa when I got home, banana, satsuma later
E - house cleaning as above. In the kitchen they put me on floor cupboards cos I can't reach the top shelves of the wall cupboards, in the rest of the house I was on skirting boards. All very well, but me poor knees! :rotfl:
have a good evening0 -
Another 1lb lost this week, which makes a total of 8lbs for this challenge so far.
Went out for the works Christmas do on Friday, and felt really good in what I was wearing for the first time in ages! Had bruschetta for starter, turkey with the trimmings, and a couple of petits fours for pud, plus 2 glasses of white wine and a vodka and coke, so not too bad, especially as I was up dancing for at least one and a half to two hours!
I've challenged myself to do at least 50 squats a day from the start of the month to Christmas, and so far I've kept it up, although I couldn't do any on Tuesday, as I somehow managed to smack my knee against the front door frame when I got home from shopping and was in agony, but luckily I did 100 the day before so it evens out, lol.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Seems to have been a bad week for knees...Sue14, are you sure it was when you came home from shopping and not when you came home from your night out? :rotfl:
It's very quiet on here, I guess people are busy with christmas stuff and not thinking about diets, it gets harder with all the nights out and lovely foods everywhere. I'm still trying, I want to lose another 2 lbs this year.
I've nothing to report, except.....I've *finally* weighed the same on Monday as I did on Friday :rotfl:
No extras this weekend, I managed to ignore the chocolate in the service station, and no takeaway (no thanks to me, I got home from a long and horrible drive in the dark and rain, thinking "pizza!", and found DS had 2 frozen pizzas ready to go in the oven...not the same, but he saved me from myself!)
So I'm optimistic I can lose another pound by Friday!
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Think you're right ellie, peeps are all so busy in December. I love being retired, not sending cards (for every card I'd send I'm giving £1 to WaterAid with friends/familys blessing and some doing likewise), all DGC growing up and want money - it's wonderful! Now I can enjoy Christmas for all the right reasons, not the commercial mess it's turned in to.
Yesterday -
B - F&F, ff Greek yogurt
D - mushrooms in a garlic cream sauce with garlic bread, 4-bird roast and all the trimmings, profit rolls with cream and choc sauce and mince pie and tea. Suffice to say I ate about 1/4 of the meal and took the dinner home for the pets.
T - not after that lot!
S - none
E - noneThe above meal was a last UK Christmas for a friend who is emigrating in a fortnight. Did do a lot of rushing about to organise/prepare the above though, then went home and slept for 10 hours
have a sunny day0 -
I am still here! Haven't weighed myself in a while because I wasn't feeling well and then had my monthly friend last week. Also been back on the crisps big style! Gonna try for a loss this week before all of the Christmas nights out start!Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):

Morning Folks
After a few lazy days my energy levels have returned and I got cracking on with the housework that has been sadly neglected over the past couple of weeks. Bedroom already done top to bottom and bedding out on the line - cant believe how mild it is here, temp in double figures :T ........just.
Just having a quick cuppa and menu planning for the week before nipping to SM to top up on fruit and veg - got a craving for satsumas - healthy or what :A
Trying to use up as much stuff in the freezer before defrosting and re-stocking, so yesterday was a freezer-fest
B - 2 small hm cheese scones, scraping of butter, sliced tomato
L - Potato Soup
D - Corned Beef, Cauli Cheese, Brussels SproutsJan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
