OH MY GOD
I just are an entire packet of biscuits. 700 cals (696 to be precise, those 4 definitely matter!)
What am I doing?0 -
You're just being human daisie, I bet most of us on here have done something similar. There was an article in the Daily Mail a few days ago about binge eaters who don't purge, ie not bulimics, I'll see if I can find a link online. A lot of it really rang bells for me.

Obviously as I like to hide my head in the sand I won't be going to the doctor to ask about this, but I found it interesting.0 -

It must be the day for it daisiegg
I've just bought a large bar of "that" chocolate, and I have no good excuse...
I was shopping at the supermarket and finding it more stressful than normal because I had a voucher for "spend £40, get £5 off" and I didn't really need that much, so was looking for stuff which would keep. I walked down the chocolate aisle, and resisted...I'd been counting it up in my head, and then I forgot and had to start adding again!...I didn't have enough, and I put the chocolate in my trolley.
I've not been home long, but I've already eaten 2 strips...
FGS I've not had any since July, what am I thinking! and on a Thursday too, just before weigh in
Personally I think as long as it's not too often, and we just pick ourselves up and start again the next day, then it's all right

Thanks guys.
There are two types of biscuits that I VERY rarely buy because if I do, I just eat the entire packet, no matter how much I tell myself I won't do it this timebut today I had a hideous experience shopping. I think practically everyone in the town next to mine must be unemployed because it was utterly heaving...on a Wednesday morning! It was just horrid and I ended up in Asda feeling ravenous, hot, sick and dizzy and shoving rubbish into the basket
then my favourite biscuits were on 3 for 2....so I bought three packets!!! One is gone. I am going to get hubby to hide the other two because if they are in the house I know the next time I feel rubbish I will eat a whole packet.
I think my problem at the moment is I don't feel any sense of urgency. When I was working towards the wedding I felt much more motivated. Now, I just can't get past the feeling of 'oh well, there is always next week'. It is so stupid because if I am not careful, one of two bad things will happen....either, I will struggle to conceive as I am overweight. Or, I will get pregnant, and will have a risky pregnancy because of being overweight, and will gain even more weight while pregnant, then never lose the baby weight, then be an absolute beached whale and my husband will leave me cos I will be disgusting!
Eek.

Think your imagination is running away with you daisiegg
I know what you mean about the shopping...
I still buy biscuits and crisps (in fact, I buy a lot of things I don't eat) because DS is still at home, and there are certain items... think things like Jaffa cakes, pringles, square crisps...that I just can't buy because they would probably be gone before DS got home at night. I think I'm a good mother, but I will not be sharing my chocolate bar with him :rotfl:
Some days it's hard...like today, seeing all these things on the SM shelves, and having to keep telling myself that I can't buy the ones I really like. I suppose it works, because I don't eat the varieties I buy for DS.
Mostly, I want to be slim more than I want the chocolate...but not always

I know, I was only half serious :rotfl:0

Hi chums I'm back with you all after being offline for a week with a poorly computer:( I have weighed myself and have lost 2lbs :jso thats cheered me up no end.Definitely tighening my belt now as the repair cost £70.00 for my machine so I'm eating and spending fairly frugaly for the next month
still lots of soups will help especially as the weather is getting chillier.
Well done to those who have stuck to it over the past week or so, and chin up if its been a bit of a struggle ,we will all get there eventually. I adore giner nut biscuits but daren't keep them indoors as I know a big cuppa would help them just vanish:D
Onwards and upwards chums

Good luck everyone x0 -
Well, I have no idea how, but somehow I have managed -1 this week. Even after the biscuit disaster!
I am very pleased although feel a bit like a cheater.
Maybe it is my 30 mins on the treadmill every single day this week balancing out the eating. I am going to keep it up as much as I can.
Good luck with weigh ins all!0 -
Hello everyone.
Sorry I haven't been around for a while - after putting on a pound last week, following what seemed to have been a pretty good week, my motivation has entirely vanished and I really can't be bothered to fight any more at the moment. I think I will drop out of this challenge, and come back to it in the spring - I suffer from seasonal depression anyway and I don't need anything to drag my mood down further.
Good luck to everyone with more motivation and will-power than I seem to be able to summon!Back after a very long break!0
