I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
My period bloated has gone down...and my trousers and now a bit loose! I havent weighed again, but will update in a month or so with my weight :)

I have made some changes to my diet, so i am wondering if its that that has made the difference.

I have the same problem at work, sweeties and cakes brought in every time there's a birthday or occasion. If there's nothing there I don't miss it but when they are there I can't seem to stop myself!

I'm the same, although I've been very good at resisting this week, despite working with my mate (aka 'the devil' as she always tempts me with goodies, lol!), as she also kept away from the 'naughty cupboard'. However another colleague tempted me into having a chocolate covered biscuit yesterday, which was 87 calories, but was ok as I counted it in my daily calories, and still stayed under my goal.

The 2lbs loss that showed last Saturday (after my STS on Friday) went back on by Monday, but luckily for my official weigh in today it had gone again, so I can declare a loss of 2lbs for this week, which takes me down to single figures, 9st 13lbs!

Thanks for biscuit avoidance good wishes, Lynsayjane, happy to report success! Opened biscuit tin, looked at digestives, closed tin, ate almonds and made a cup of green tea instead.

I ate a bit carbier than ideal today (a bit of beans in the soup, breadcrumbs on fish fingers, a tbsp cooked apple in the yogurt) but still sugar free.

Weigh- in tomorrow morning! Good night all.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Good morning, and I mean GOOD morning, with the scales reading -1.1 Kg!

    :j. :T. :rotfl:  :rotfl:

Does it show that I am a happy bunny? It is nearly-2.5 lbs!

And all this by eating well, no hunger, plenty of veg, only avoiding starchy carbs. I had a fair amount of carbs in other forms, with veg, nuts, a few beans, and still managed to get a nice loss. I now have some hope.

Of course I am facing a big challenge, my trip to Italy, where I often (but not always) tend to overdo the food. I just will have to stay focused.

Hope you all have a good day too!

Official weigh in and I'm -1lb
So now at 11st 7lb, if I lose only 1lb each week I'll be under the eleven for Christmas.
With the talk of avoiding carbs, it makes me wonder how my own dietary restrictions affect my weight. A couple of months ago I noticed I was feeling bloated, gassy and uncomfortable, I decided to cut out dairy and since then have had only one or two occasions where I've felt bad and both linked to eating something I hadn't thought of (ate risotto at work and didn't occur that it would have milk/cream, silly me!). I now eat a moistly lacto free diet and weight has started to creep off which I struggled with before.

Caterina glad you managed to avoid most of the biscuits. Very jealous for Italy, I loved my time there and the food (and prosecco) was very nice.

    Have a good day all

Still plodding on - good luck for losses and well done for those that have already declared xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Agree with lynsayjane, if the temptation isn't there I can't eat it. so no biscuits etc are allowed across my threshold. I'll occasionally make something sweet but only if I'm expecting visitors, or to put in the freezer in case of unexpected ones.
Caterina that deserves a round of :T:T:T as does everyone who's lost or sts this week. I'll be in Malta from Friday, when do you go to Italy? I'll give a wave in your direction ;)

Will be eating from the ff as I don't want to do any more shopping other than essentials before I go on Friday. My DGD1 is moving in to look after the cat so he'll be safe during the firework period. Why does it have to last a week (or more) these days?

B - F&F on stewed apple with ff yogurt
L - boiled egg, WW wm soldiers
D - pasta with veggie topping
S - melon, grapes, carrot batons
E - 1x10 mins done, more to follow, clean out cupboards under sink, lots of small jobs to do between programmes this evening. Love the ad breaks :D

It's a beautiful day - the lull before the storm? Take care :)
  • I'm minus 1.6 lb this week
however as I gained 1.5lb last week
this gives me only a total minus 0f 0.6 knitwitch
at least I hope thats how it works...

scratches head and wonders "if I loose the same pound 50 times is it easier of harder than loosing 50 in a row..?"
