Not really been able to do much today as babysitting 12 1/2 month old granddaughter who creates a whole lot of clutter just by herself!

25 & 26 2 books bought for grandson and given to him
27 Nightie given to daughter to take back for exchange
    28 Craft knife set

Plus one daughter, one granddaughter and associated clutter, but that's only temporary as they'll be back again for 2 nights on Sunday!

    Still, onwards and upwards.
Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Am pig sick :(. Have spent the whole afternoon and evening filing and have found £227 clubcard vouchers which are expired. That's over £600 worth :(. I'm so gutted :(.
I will ring them tomorrow and see if there are any which can be added back on to my account but I doubt there are really :(. That's so much money to waste :(.

Oh well, the filing is done now thank goodness. About 5 carrier bags full of paper chucked. Oh and did I mention, about £600's worth of clubcard vouchers wasted :( Well, actually 1 carrier to recycling, the rest was confidential so I lit the fire and just kept feeding it whilst we were filing. Will need to clean the grate tomorrow.

Oh Kaz, that's heartbreaking. I feel for you. :( Did you forget them or just not notice the expiry date. :(

I *knew* they were there but had no idea of the expiry date. Last time we went abroad was 08 and the expiry date is 08 on some of them. I used all of my clubcard points up to that date to pay first for our holiday and then for our tunnel but I'm just gutted that I have wasted them and have lost all of that money.
Oh well. There aren't any pockets in a shroud I suppose :(

Morning natterjack! Sorry folks, this will be a bit off topic, but I've just got to ask.......What is your secret for raising so much money in December for your £10 a day challenge? That's a seriously HUGE amount of money, and worth a big CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! Would love to know how you did it :)

DD's school have given us a bag to put old shoes/clothes in to be recycled so I've found a few things to clear a bit more space:

    97. 3 pairs of shoes
    98. 1 pair of slippers
    99. 10 pairs of socks

    100. Threw out my Take That calendar from last year into recycling

So I've met the challenge but still have lots to do so I'll keep going if no one minds. Turns out now we won't be moving (DH didn't get the job :() but the house so badly needs decluttering I'm committed to doing it. I want the house to be a nice home, not a storage place as it is right now!

Off to declutter some calories and walk the dog!

    Keep going everyone!

  • Hey mumof 2, I'm nowhere near the 100 yet, but plan to make this a monthly challenge for myself. Otherwise I know I shall just clutter away again!

    Plans for today:
    1. Hand wash (yuk) the bedspread that has sat at bottom of shower for weeks
    2. Tidy bedroom that has cluttered up again due to me just shifting piles & boxes around
    3. Sort through bedside cabinet as per declutter calendar
    4. Put away Boots order I collected (not toiletries but bits and pieces for presents from sale)
    5. Do a laundry wash
