I've cleared all the paper from the fridge and put it in the recycling bin. The calendar is now up to date with everything from the letters we have received so far.

Ditch 100 items in January
Can I please be added to the list? Found some more bits and pieces that can go/have gone. Was out most of yesterday and babysitting all day today, so not much got done, but there's a few more things out of the way.
17. Storage box to mum for her craft stuff
18. Magnetic board for cross stitch - to mum
19. 11 morsbags (made from repurposed fabric) - to mum for her craft group
20. 1 top - charity shop bag
21. Baby bath towel that is too small for granddaughter to use now - CS bag
22. Roll of lining paper dug out of the loft - going to grandson's nursery
23. Half a tube of Kylie Minogue body lotion . Going to the homeless shelter
24. 1 Pepsi glass that had a chip and faded logo - glass recycling
This is good: I struggle to find the motivation to tidy the house or put things away, so the fewer things in the house the better! I have been reading a book and it says to declutter one thing at a time: seems to have inspired me. Watch this space for a clutter-free house!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

I've commited myself to getting rid of two things every day (minimum), this way by the end of the year I'll have removed at least 732 items from my house. These go into the recycle bin, the bin, onto eBay or into my charity shop donation box (goes down to the shop every Saturday).
Today was two pairs of legwarmers - just little things today. Yesterday was a DVD and a bookcase. This way I don't feel the enormous pressure of doing it all at once, plus I can always chuck more away if I find it! Slow and steady is my motto.0 -
Wow this thread is speeding along!
Has anyone else noticed that there is a pattern to the barcode numbers on dvds and books?! having typed mine into music magpie and zapper to see whats the best deal, I have noticed themes in genre of the object...think I am going mad!
Tomorrow I plan on disposing of the stuff I have sorted into IKEA bags.
I have a build in cupboard wardrobe in my room, I would love to have no clutter in there as thats where I throw everything atm.0 -
I've been lazy today
have only got rid of some pork seasoning to my mom, I'm the only one who eats pork so don't buy it often enough to use the seasoning. Have also put a dressing gown into the charity shop bag which is going tomorrow! (def going tomorrow, it's my mission to take it!) today's ins include a new dressing gown (had some pjs for christmas that didn't fit so exchanged them for a new dressing gown
. Also had a new toilet brush (exciting I know!).
Tomorrow I'm getting rid of a big bag of stuff to charity shop, set of mugs to freegler and a pile of eBay stuff to the post office.
I WILL attack at least my half of the bedroom tomorrow as well so there will deffinately be a list tomorrow!
EDIT: obsessive compulsive hoarder is currently being repeated on channel 4 xx
Sending Clutter-free love to you all, see you tomorrow xxx

I have got rid of a decorative bottle of chillies from the kitchen. Don't know why people give gifts like that?
I've spent an hour or so cleaning the kitchen. Wiped down all sides and cupboards and cleaned the floor. Want to get rid of the air fresheners that DH has bought as they make my throat sore. Nasty.
Will see if I can get rid of anything else later.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
