I put my butt in gear this afternoon and convinced myself to join the ditch 100 items in January challenge so here goes:
- 2 x robinsons fruit shoot bags and contents to after school club.
- old remote control found in bedroom draw:eek: into bin.
So I have kicked off my effort with 2/100, onwards and upwards.:j DEBT FREE FROM 01/01/11 :j

I desperately need this thread, my house is full of clutter and it's ridiculous. I'm up for the ditch 100 in January challenge. I actually went thru my garage today and got a car load of stuff taken to the dump, so I can actually open my garage door without things falling out on me now!!! My biggest problem are toys, paperwork and my clothing, so I will focus on those. My kids are 2 and 4, both just had their birthdays as well as Christmas, so we've had a huge influx of toys and just no space to put them, so am going to have a real purge on the toys they don't play with and see if I can make some money as well as create some space!!
So I can start with the garage stuff:
1. old wardrobe
2. old garden table
3. old garden chair
4. computer table
5. computer chair
6. broken stair gate
7. infant car seat
8. broken tv
9. old bits of carpet
10. mouldy curtains (nice!!)
11. Bedside table
12. 2 broken games
Oh and I managed to sell 2 items on facebook page
13. gum ball machine toy
14. rocking ladybird toy
So that's not bad for day 1

It's not technically an out - but it's been used at last after sitting on the bathroom floor for over a year, so I'm going to count it anyway! 1 roll of bathroom sealant - I've finally scraped out the manky old sealant, and replaced with this nice easy strip of plastic stuff! Can't think what took me so long.....0

Only thing I've decluttered today is a college application form! Spent the evening helping my eldest fill it in, so that hopefully she'll get accepted.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0

18. Carrier worth of cardboard/card to the cardboard bin.
Been at work all day and doing college work most of the evening so a bit slow today. Black box day tomorrow ( cans/paper/fabric/foil/glass) so can't wait until that gets empty as I've plenty more lined up waiting to go in.
A few bits more sorted but haven't left the house yet so not going to count them.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Yesterday OH sorted out the paperwork he keeps on the shelf of his bedside cabinet (mostly old car insurance documents for a car which was written off in an accident last year), this resulted in a pile of paperwork for shredding/recycling which I shredded this morning, had to empty the shredder twice! Checking through the videos and DVDs I found we had one Disney title on VHS and DVD, so I've put the VHS in ebay box as I've sold a few Disney VHS on there already.
I got 42 items listed on ebay yesterday, and have watchers on 4 items already, including DS's TV and the unit he keeps the TV on, hope they go this time!Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs
