I want to continue with the challenge but when I try to update to size 4 it won't let me as the writing is "too big". ?????

Try cutting and pasting the big "Ditch 100" heading from another post.

Me too! I'm feelng quite guilty as everyone else seems to be doing so much more. Will have to get stuck in next week. :o

    Don't feel guilty; I haven't! I haven't got to 1 item yet.

Just had a breakthrough moment that I thought I'd share.

Washed up and had one of those glass GU pudding jars (whoopsied I hasten to add!) thought about keeping it, along the it could come in useful one day thought variety. But it's gone into the glass recycling. Not going to count it yet, but it was a bit of Eureka moment.

Wish my other half would do that - it drives me nuts how he insists on keeping and washing empty margarine pots - in case he needs one for his DIY! I wouldnt mind so much if he took them into the garage, but they just sit there on the kitchen top annoying me

My dad does that too! What is it with guys and hoarding empty boxes "just in case". Got called into work in the morning so that cuts down my de-cluttering time I had allotted tomorrow. Might go and do a bit now before bed!

I probably should do the "ditch 100" thing (in our case I probably need to get rid of about 1000 things!) but probably have too much on my plate this month to keep the momentum up. But I did get shot of 5 surplus pairs of curtains (two of them enormous & very bulky) today via Freecycle so am quite chuffed, as was the lady who picked them up. She's just moved into a very draughty bungalow & had borrowed some curtains which didn't fit & that she was terrified her kids would damage, so they'll do her much more good than me!

Ditch 100 in January Challenge 33/100

I've been busy today after my earlier update, and have sorted through the kids clothes ready for listing on FB.

I've also managed to get rid of:

    30. 2 x baby sleeping bags sold on FB
    31. 2 x sleepsuits for the bin as the little man has put his toes through the foot.
    32. More cardboard packaging in recycling.
    33. Quick run around before bin day tomorrow has produced 2 bin liners of stuff - bits of rubbish etc lying around - where does it come from?!

I think at this rate I'll be doing a 100 items in February too...:o
96 items decluttered so far in 2013 :)

Well I didn't manage to get a lot done today since my little one's toy from Christmas caught alight so I had to clean ash from the whole house, change the beds etc etc. I also have a job interview tomorrow so I have been preparing for that but I did manage to get rid of

    43. A full pack of wipes (value of course) from cleaning up the ash!)
    44. A couple of bottles of juice that were lurking about so used those up.
    45. An old dressing gown with lots of holes in binned.
    46. 3 sets of curtains added to the CS pile.

    Everyone is doing so well!

Oh no, did it cause any damage?

ETA, good luck with your job interview tomorrow :)
