Thanks for the information about Wilkinsons. I have a number of coats I don't really wear. Had been hanging on to them as it seems wasteful to keep getting new coats (even if they were only CS ones in the first place!) but I have a lovely new winter coat this year for the first time in ages and I do like the idea of passing on my unused ones to people who need them. We have Wilkos in our town so will go down and check it out when I am passing. That man is richest whose pleasures are cheapest. Henry David Thoreau0

Ah thank you, you've given me hope. Just hate to landfill anything if avoidable!0 -
I've surprisingly done quite well today (DD still not herself) but I've completely lost count, I ditched 3 full bags full of stuff, various other things and put A LOT of stuff in the car boot box. In the interests of this challenge, I'm going to say it's about 20 things (I know it's more but I still have so much anyway so it shouldn't be a problem reaching the target!

Interesting conversations about emotional attachment to 'stuff'. My dad is a hoarder, and I've inherited his tendancies. DH doesn't notice anything going on around him half the time and that includes 'stuff' until it gets overwhelming. Then he helpfully gets very stressed about it! MIL, on the other hand, is utterly ruthless and unattached to stuff. She can't understand why we keep so much around, although she tries to be polite about it. I admire that in her but I can't do it myself. I should let her loose in my house. A few days later and we'd have very little left.0

I find so hard to let go of things and my Mum is the same. We think we live in a tiny house but honestly we do not. It would be a lovely house if we could just sort it out. Neither of have the heart to chuck anything tho. I do have fits of doing it and don't keep clothes for long or bags but "stuff" Christmas cards or useful things..............drawers full everywhere.

eeek! I must be doing something wrong! I think our xmas decs took up 8 or 9 boxes!!!! Havent managed to put them away yet, but hoping to reduce that number slightly.lilac_lady wrote: »Still stuck at 9/100 clear out items as I've been out all day.
