I'm finding that although I'm pretty much keeping on top of things since the move, I still need to sort through and get rid of some more 'stuff' again
    So

    1. Old tatty slippers - bin.
    2-4. Hardback books x 3 - CS
    5. Old tray - recycling.
    6-9. Odd socks x4 - Bin.
    10. Used up bath bubbles - recycling.
    11. Tatty underwired bra with one wire poking through - bin.
    12. Shirt that hubby hates wearing - bin.
    13. Old tatty work shoes - bin.
    14. Finally finished a box of tumble drier sheets that I've had for about 3 or 4 years, lol :T

Also chucked out some OOD food from the fridge and stale bread.

    Soon adds up doesn't it?

    eta:
    15. Tupperware insert thingy (?) - recycling.
    16. Various bits of paperwork that's either out of date or pertains to the old house and is no longer needed/paid off etc....

    17. 3x paperbacks to a colleague who's going into hospital this week.
    18. Holey jumper - bin.
    19. Top that's now too big - bin.
    20. 1950's razors (hubbys) - eb*y.
    21. Winter coat _ Eb*y.
    22. 1 x litre bottle of Australian Bodycare wash used up and recyled.
    23. Xmas presents x 3 to my great niece. :xmassmile

Can't wait until I can get rid of the rest of the xmas presents to their respective recipients too and de-clutter the spare room.

Loads of old rubbish broken bits and papers in the binbags sorted out a load of old dvd's and xbox games that we don't want so they will be going on the local but and sell site, my DD old moses basket that is going as well, no more babies in this house !!! and then alot of old baby clothes, Made the bed and boxed up some bits in there and its now habitable lol.

Felt a bit crap after that so went back to bed for a snooze with my DD, Im still really getting to grips with my fibro :(, Tomorrow Im gonna do my DD room she has a futon in there that my DH decided to just dump all her clean clothes on, But she has a massive box of baby blankets which I'm debating on getting rid off or letting her use as dolly blankets.

Hope that everyone has had a good sunday, I'm just waiting on our pasta bake to cook so im decluttering my store cubbie as well lol.
  • I've had a very lazy day.I've found 2 jumpers and 1 cardigan to give away.Slowly getting there.

  • Got a bad case of lazyitis in this house.. !

Out yesterday all day so nothing done. Today was out in the garden this morning, sweeping leaves and deadheading bushes, so there's 5 sacks of garden stuff to take to the dump later in the week. Plus I found an instruction sheet from a hand-crank sewing machine I sold way back in May.

And that's it..... got granddaughter staying for a couple of nights, so probably won't get much done for a couple of days.

125-129 Bags of leaves and garden stuff - going to compost at dump
130 Fabric used to make 6 morsbags
131 Instruction sheet from old sewing machine - paper recycling

Hoping to introduce granddaughter (nearly 2) to the delights of decluttering in the next couple of days!

    Evenin' all

Sounds like you've all had busy days - wtg :T. Who said Sunday is a 'day of rest' ;)

Had a good session in the gym this morning and made a commitment for Aerobics tomorrow and Circuit on Tuesday. I even walked there as my 'warm-up'.

OH decided that he needed some painkillers from MrA's, so I just HAD to go - completely against my will, I might add :rotfl:. Walked there to make it more virtuous. Didn't go completely crazy - honest ;) - then walked home afterwards! Not so long ago, I would have got a taxi home :o.

    Whoopsies - Kingsmill Granary Loaf (65p) / 1kg pack onions (55p) / piece of haddock for 3 meals (£1.25) / Blueberry&Raspberry Water (23p).
    Full price - Half cucumber (45p) / 1kg Sweet Pots (£1) / Painkillers (£1.25)
Managed to use up £1.50 Price Guarantee Vouchers off the cost as well.

    Decluttering - hmmmmm -

    47. Tomatoes, Red Peppers and 2 Red Onions from freezer drawer turned into Soup - will do lunches for 2 or 3 days!
    Tackled 'under the stairs' -
    48. 2 hand-made baby cardigans that need buttons and can go to cs.
    49. Brand new Tefal Steamer in box. Acquired as part of a package with my Actifry but never used. Was going to give as wedding present to niece, but they requested B&Q Vouchers. Need to decide what to do with it - may try ebay.
    50. Picnic Box that now contains all embroidery stuff - removed and put into spare room with other stuff for 'The Big Move'.
    51. Unused photo album - can go to cs.
    52. 8 unused coffee coasters - can go to cs.
    53. 4 large boxes given by DS1 for packing put upstairs for filling.
    54. No longer used Kodak Digi Camera and Printer/Docker - wish I knew somebody who could use it BUT it was very quickly outdated. Freecycle? Bin?
    55. Box of cassette tapes - aaarrgh - I love those tapes, but will I ever play them again - very much doubt it. Freecycle? Market Junk Stall Trader? :undecided
    56. Box of college paperwork (5yrs old) for shredding into garden waste bin.
    57. Black bin bag of 'net curtains' - for cs.

By that stage, there were spiders running in all directions :rotfl: (evicted courtesy of Little Henry) and 'dust bunnies' everywhere :o ................ but under the stairs is now clear :j.

I'm about to make a phone call to cousin in USA and then I'm heading for bed. Want to be up and out early tomorrow morning for Aerobics at 10.00am.

    Nite nite all

Feel quite down today :( as despite the decluttering the house is feeling a mess. I think because I've dragged stuff out of drawers\ from windowsills it all looks a bit sh%t at the moment :o

I'll need to repeat this challenge of get rid of 300 things but in a shorter burst. So I may aim for 300 things in 15 days for December. So that's 20 things a day!

Unless me and hubby have less stuff we can't get or keep our house tidy. Ok time to stop feeling sorry for myself and do something
    :A
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

I know I have joined the de-cluttering late in the day (or at least I hope I have joined):o
Hopefully any de-cluttering progress made now can only make 2013 more clutter free.
I have been slowing de-cluttering no longer needed but useable items on ebay, and when DD went to Uni we had a mega de-clutter of her stuff. She still appears to have masses of stuff in her room but we must have ,ade about 3 trips to the tip.
Just been sorting through DS's drawers and he has had a massive growth spurt and appears to have outgrown everything so just sorting suff for CS and clothes recycling place.
I really need to tackle three cupboards of children's books ( now they are 18 and 14) but it is so hard:(
Make £10 per day in July £45.48/£310
    June £232.66, May £310.36, April £310.19, March £287.32, February £250.18, January £257.24
    Swagbucks in 2015 £65/£150
