Rug problem not yet resolved, however it can keep for just now.
Deep digging going on in the wardrobe still so will take some stuff to CS on Monday as after that I'm away for two weeks so the place can have a rest. Gave the CS a big plastic storage box which had been on the top of the wardrobe with 'stuff' in. Gosh, the dust on the lid would have filled a lavender bag. Not nice.
Today I bought myself two new kitchen knives - I know how to live a little - but now wonder how to dispose of the old unwanted ones. Can I just take them to the recycle centre and chuck into the household waste skip?
Just one more bag today and I will stop.
Thanks for all the encouragements.0 -
Seems like a productive Sunday for most
Ive not done anything except the washing, but pleased to say i only have 1 more load to wash.
5 things have sold on Ebay today (got 8 more items ending later but no bids yet). So hoping they pay up so i can parcel them up ready to go tomorrow! Got a bag im hoping to finish filling for CS that i can take tomorrow. And the big bag of stuff i sorted from my room that i put downstairs last night is half empty, ive been putting things back where they belong
Sadly its freezing in my lounge so im glued to the lappy whilst the fire warms the place up then im going to crack on sorting thingsKids are watching a DVD and playing so hopefully i will be as productive as some of you
Oh and want to get my sewing finished later!

Thanks Silentsister, well done to you too for all the decluttering you have done over the last few months, particularly with your books.
I have managed to fill up the rest of the garden bin today with leaves, bin is being emptied tomorrow.
Yesterday, I forgot to mention my In, a pair of leather shoes which could only have been worn a handful of times for £3.50 in the CS. My spring shoes are now sorted. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

Well once the room heated up i cracked on.
Out:
2 big carrier bags for CS (rather than the hopeful 1) - includes some clothes ive given up trying to sell, some books, DVDs, some cards etc.
1 big carrier back of rubbish, general rubbish, old CD cases (moved all CDs into the CD box/folder thing ive had for yonks!) and some old filing and paperwork ive gone through, some odds and sods i no longer need.
Also got a small carrier bag of things that belong upstairs to move
Just written a letter to Domestic and General about 2 warranty policies that are still in my maiden name (i got married over a year ago) and got the details to call VAX about my temporamental hoover as the warranty expires in March. Still not got last load of washing in yet but the dryer is desperately trying to catch up with all the washing i did this morning LOL
1 more thing sold on Ebay so i think thats 7 parcels im hoping to post tomorrowx

I've hatched a new plan to declutter stuff in particular from wardrobes... Seek out things you haven't worn for a while (shoes, tops, jeans etc) and wear them. Today I put on a top I thought I liked and within 5 mins I told it its rights, it's going down to the... charity shop tomorrow.
PS: well done on all the hard work everyoneDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
