Is anyone else feeling the benefit of shredding junk and stuff straight away rather than doing a pile of it?Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

I wish I were that organised!0 -
Thank you for your kind welcome :-)
I have not actually done any decluttering today :-$ But I have made 2 cakes - batch cooking is another of my projects this week.
I may sweep a load of paperwork into a bag and take it into work tomorrow for shredding on the massive industrial shredder there! I'll feel ebtter for it - there are shelves full of carp upstairs.
Wish me luck in having more success tomorrow! Not Buying It 20150 -

You should have seen me in the old days, I was so organised it was scary!
Since becoming a decrepit old crab, I am nowhere near as organised. Joining here has given me the kick up the derrier I have been needing for some time. Paperwork is filled either straightaway or when it is still only a small pile, not the carrier bags I used to fill. I am quite determined to get my house in order, physically & metaphorically.
hope every one has had a good start to the week, Tuesday already  oh, and did anyone else know we now have 98 DAYS TO XMAS?
Night night all.:)Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Morning - my sister wants all my old videos for her patients so that's 40 items that will have a new home on Friday rather than cluttering up my dustbin. DH hasn't even noticed the space created by all the big gardening and cookery books I took to Oxfam on Saturday :rotfl: Although I only joined a week or so ago, that'll be 50+ items decluttered for ever - very pleased about that, and a LOT more books will be going this week and next. I only buy books for my Kindle now. At some point we'll tackle the 15 boxes of books in the loft, but DH will have to get them down for me. Also got about 1500 books at Mum's which she needs us to clear out; will just take them to the book bank. At one point I'd've considered it blasphemy to get rid of books, but I'm more practical now - DH isn't really on board with it but most of the books are mine anyway and not stuff he'll read."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

My lovely OH is out posting a mahoosive bag of ebay sale and I have listed the grandfather clock I was pondering the other week.. it has a bid already and 8 days left..
I will make a dent in it eventually I guess. I am considering another clothes4cash bag filling session. I have loads and loads of stuff on ebay all in lovely condition and it isn't selling so it will go one way or another.
I have a couple more winter coats and snowsuits to list.
I have 2 towels to fling next time they come through the laundry too.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Not done much so far, listed a few bits on Ebay. More later when the kids are in bed. Threw out more CDS (no cases or anything so cant trade in), trying to keep things tidy and rid things as i see them. The downstairs is looking tidier for it im sure!
Used up some bolognese sauce from the cupboard that has been there ages as husband doesnt really eat alot of pasta dishes. He is working late tonight so cracked it open. Nothing amazing but we're fed.
Returning a dress i bought for DD this week as a popper is broken. Decided i dont need a replacement (yet!) so will just refund itI went in the shop to buy a jumper and out i came with a jumper and a dress lol im trying though....
