Hello falady and Linda - good to have you here.
I like your little and often approach falady - I was hoping to have a massive clearout today, but after all the chores and cooking, I have sore feet and have run out of time. I was hoping to see an instant dramatic improvement, but it didn't get this cluttered instantly either! I will plough on, little and often it is, and I have my month's target to aim for now.0 -

We had short burst tidying the garage today. One huge crate of bottles and jars to the glass recycling resulting in a beautifully clear work top.
Also spent time clearing the garden. Some pretty poor petunias ( not watered enough ) now on compost heap and cut back some climbing plants near front door. At least our house looks good from the outside :j
It definitely helps by listing our achievements, thanks for your support girls :beer:0 -

Yay! I finally got all my clothes out from the wardrobes, loft and those that were slung in a bag to get them out of the way. So far I have sorted them into 4 piles: Keep/Charity Shop/Not Sure/Slim Into.
The Charity Shop pile currently has 43 items in it and the 'Slim Into' pile 31 items. I've still to go through the 'Not Sure' pile as I need a 2nd opinion from hubby or daughter on whether to keep or chuck. The Keep pile is back in the wardrobe and there still seems to be far too many!
I finally have a wardrobe full of M&S Per Una and Autograph clothes that fit (or will fit in a couple of weeks when I've lost a few pounds), mostly trousers. I seem to be a clothesaholic, but most of them have come from charity shops. I see no difference in buying them in a charity shop or on Ebay, and when I can get them at a fraction of the price they cost new, I am a sucker for a bargain! (A lot of them were £1 each).
Consequently I have far too many clothes and have had to make some difficult decisions, but if they were the wrong colour, didn't fit properly, didn't do anything for me, out they went into the charity shop bag.
I will go through the rest tomorrow or Tuesday, and dispose of them later in the week. That's another big weight off my shoulders...
So, all I'm listing today is:
65. 43 items of clothing (maybe I should list them all separately then I've nearly reached my target!)
66. 1 stainless steel flask excess to requirements
67. 2 metal water bottles excess to requirements
Off to bed now (if I can find it under all the clothes!!!)Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Afternoon!
Well some more things have been brought in, all bought in the sale or second hand which is MSE of me! Just adding to the kids wardrobes as they outgrow things and i sell them!
DD has a pair of jeans, a jumper and a dress.
DS has a fleece sleepsuit, a l/s top and a top and hoody set.
Ive put aside a few of their clothes to sell this week to make up for it
Last night i sorted my underwear and PJ drawer out and got a few bits to throw. And sorted out the baby clothes (we had tonnes in 0-3) and got rid of about 7 items to charity that the baby wont miss when she arrives!
Hoping to get some more bits done later as we are off to a friends for tea and play time with her kids this afternoon! xDFW Total £21,800 to clear by Dec 2022
