Just de-cluttered (bagged up) all the change we had invarious bags and boxes and there is ...
£285
and there's me thinking " no I don't hoard anything"
Years ago I used to pay my phone & electic bill with bags of change, then all the banks got sniffy about taking coins or just stopped having counter staff actually prepared to deal with customers and it's damned hard to get bags of pennies in the paying envelope slots :rotfl: And damned if I'm going to give the supermarkets 10% by using those machines they have, so it just sort of mounted up.
Oh well off to the bank with it, but they only take 5 bags per transaction!!
I take one bag at a time to the supermarket self service tills and pay in pennies. Morrisons is especially good as you can chuck it all onto a conveyor belt rather than feed it in one coin at a time. HTH0 -
One bed delivered, the packaging will go tomorrow, the delivery men took the old bed and mattress.
Not much happening today. I did de-clutter the ironing pile though, it was huge and took hours, but it's done.
I finished my 4th book of the summer holidays so that will go to my mum when I next see her.
Hoping to do the bathroom tomorrow.

157-166: After spending the whole afternoon lying on the hammock in the garden *sigh of happiness*, I've sorted through some DVDs and listed 10 with Music Magpie, so will package those up and send them off.

Well, as I suspected, not much been done here since Thursday, as we've had our 4 1/2 year old disabled grandson staying with us while his mum and dad work away. He's not much bother, just needs watching as he tends to climb on top of the TV unit and get his face right up to the TV: yesterday he overbalanced and hit his head on the TV unit. Plus he's forever wanting his DVDs changed, so it's difficult to get on and do anything in another room.
Still......
98. 3 new bottles of bubbles decanted into 1 big one, pots in recyclnig
99. Glasses case to charity shop bag
100. Soap dish to charity shop bag.
Yay!!! Got to my 100 this month. There's still loads on my list to do, but it's been so hot I haven't really fancied getting in the loft and working in an oven.
Grandson is going home in the morning, so I'll have a free day until the evening when granddaughter arrives for the night and Monday.... Oh well, there's always the rest of the week!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

I keep cutting pages out of magazines of things that I want to do (craft stuff) or recipes I want to try or gardening information but I am not sure how to store them. Maybe a ring binder with plastic wallets.
I know what you mean, I stick them into a scrapbook, they are all in the one place and I can write notes as I do each one on whether I enjoyed it or hints for future use. My scrapbook is a big A4 hard cover book.
With the penpal letters, I would do the same and stick them in date order in a scrapbook, then they are tidy, in one place and easy to find.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

I do have a scrapbook somewhere - probably buried in my pile of craft stuff!
Not sure a scrapbook would work for the letters as most are double sided but it would be nice to be able to stick the photographs and little things that are sent all in the same place.0
