Can I join you on this thread please? I have a ton of stuff that's just cluttering up my house which I know I have to get rid of. I always think that I can sell it all or it will come in useful but I just end up with piles of junk that no one wants.
I'm only here for another 12 days in July before my holiday so I will have to get cracking if I'm going to get to 100 things out if the door!
    Trying to keep in budget.

I can sympathise with you Gien, this thread has certainly helped me to move things out of the house, rather than just move them from one place to another.
This afternoon I've decluttered the spare room (ready for a visitor at the weekend) and the toy box which has given me:
    1 game to cs
    1 bag bricks to cs
    1 bag lego to cs
    5 assorted toys to cs
10 packs playing cards to cs
    Sig updated.

Not an awful lot today, mostly building on yesterday's work. However:

    3) 9 jigsaws - Freecycle
    4) Box of leftover cardboard packaging - recycling bin

I've also got a box of books waiting to go to the charity shop when I get a chance (probably not until next weekend) and have added 2 bottles and 3 jamjars to the glass recycling bag (but this is still in the house at present, so not counted until tomorrow)

    Ooh, I forgot:
    5) 1 book sold on GreenMetropolis
    6) 2 birthday presents found and sent off on time :)

5 items of clothing to charity shop

    4 books to charity shop

Plastic carrier bags to recycling point at supermarket

Magazine read and put into recycling (was going to rip out an article I wanted to keep, but couldn't remember what it was. Figured it wasn't that important, so flung straight into recycling bin before I could change my mind!)

I rallied after a day of gibbering exhaustion and sallied forth just before 7 pm to run to the lottie shed for a smash-n-grab raid and the whizzed to the tip and home.

Although the house is pretty clear now, I'm going to start a July count as I really wish I'd done one for May and June.

Ah, now if we're counting eating chocolate as decluttering then I could be very good at this ;)

Morning, felt quite pleased with myself yesterday. I have no idea how many things I can get rid of in a month but going to have a try! Would be nice to get on top of things in the house before the kids start their hols. I managed:

1-2 Bags of paper to the recycling bank (old magazines and catalogues)
3-11 Items of clothing to the recycling bank
12-13 Plastic water containers to the recycling - been sitting in the utility room for months!
14-22 Books to the recycling bank, not worth selling
23 A carrier bag of assorted bits and pieces from the utility room - into the bin

More to be done today so will hopefully have more to add later.
