I've got rid of some stuff today but as I've just joined so I thought I should count them for July.
    1. Broken rotary washing line
    2. Two rabbit hay tunnels in lounge (rabbit hasn't even looked at them for weeks
    3. Free-standing hanger for ironing, not functioning correctly
    4. Double duvet cover that was on my BF bed when I first met what is now DH way back in 1991 (this one was a wrench but it is completely worn out and thread bare)

I would count the jars as making a total of 43!

    sue14 glad you're feeling a bit better.

Hi flev and welcome!:wave:Sorry if I've missed anyone.

I had a minor declutter today.I might even beat 300!

    -21 dvds to sell
    -1 video to cs
    -1 magazine recycled
-4 pots of jam to the cellar (where I store my HM jams and chutneys.
-2 empty jam jars to the cellar
-1 small tub of cuticle cream binned-It was opened about 5 years ago,so imagine all the germs in it-or rather don't!

    That's 296/200!Right I'll have to find 4 more items now.I'll be back...

Hmmm maybe you're right - that would sound a lot better!

Wow! Everyone is doing so well. Greyqueen, it sounds like the downpour did you a favour as you ended up doing loads of decluttering!

    Welcome to July :)
Yesterday was very quiet here on the clearing front but I have now binned videos, put 4 books in the cs box and passed on a book to a friend and a dvd to another. I’ve walked around and collected a bag of empty bottles and old bathroom stuff. I’ve also passed on some things to an elderly friend.
    5 books/magazines
    27 videos
    1 bag of old bottles
    1 plug in night-light
    1 battery charger and batteries
    1 dvd

My efforts seem rather paltry next to the fine work the rest of you are doing. Never mind, even one thing a day is better than the zero things per day that were previously being decluttered.

I agree, get yourself into a habit of decluttering something every day and you will pretty soon start to see a difference which will inspire you to declutter more. It all counts!

3: Broken cake tin - bin

    Tomorrow:
    4-5: Books to CS
    6-17: CDs to CS

I have just been in the loft to get the bags down for our upcoming holiday, I have thrown out three large appliance boxes, a bag of received Christmas cards (all recycled) 3 dead desktop computers and two dead laptops, cases to the metal recycling and rest to the tip. I have also got rid of some old travel bags which don't have wheels so never going to be used for holidays and around 60 carrier bags (don't ask!).

I have identified some more stuff that needs to be removed but I can only do a bit at a time...now having a well earned cuppa.

We bought a coffee machine a few years ago. We've used it a handful of times but it's bulky and cumbersome so it's going to have to go.

I was given one of these when I moved into my first flat (OH's mum and friends had clear-outs, and gave me boxes of stuff they didn't want), which I thought was great at the time, but being too poor to buy filter coffee and the filters all the time it didn't get used much (think I only bought 1 pack of each), however I still had it in the shed until last year when I finally got rid as part of the decluttering!
    *sniggers childishly*

Well why not, you can spend your free time as you wish, in the privacy of your own shed :rotfl:

Glad you are on the mend and do please take it easy x

:rotfl:I didn't realize that could be taken another way, lol, but I don't think there will be any of that going on in the shed, there's no room for a start, and it would definitely put my back out again, lol!

Every item out is one less bit of clutter, so it all counts.

I've just realized I didn't list the ebay parcel which OH posted for me on Thursday, so I will make that my first item for July, I also used a piece of air cushion packaging from my stash, so 2 items out.
