:j Wow, everyone's doing so well. :j
I went to the allotment with intent-to-garden and had 3.5 hours in the shed with rainstorms coming with only about 5-10 mins between them, so was stuck (no jacket) and got on with some serious decluttering.

79-86 Metal plant tags made from tomato puree tubes- recyc.
87. Hanging chains from a hanging basket- Freecyc.
88-92 2 forks and spoons (odd ones used for fine weeding. Except I have others and these are spares). c.s.

140/100So proud I could just burst. This concept is such a help, I cannot tell you how I appreciate everyone sharing their experiences. Go, us!

Well, last day of the month and I've managed to find another few things to add to my total for June.
- Chipped mug
- Old tablets - going back to pharmacy
- Old perished elastic bands and rusty drawing pins from Christmas box
- 2 cooling trays (I only need 1, I don't make cakes any more)
- 2 baking tins
- 2 CDs - going to grandson's nursery to make hanging things
- Frying pan past its best.
Still revelling in a clean and tidy house (don't look too closely in the cupboards and wardrobes or loft though!). Wish I'd thought of it years ago: put your house on the market and you'll have to keep it in order to find a buyer!
I've now gone over the 200 total, it's amazing how the little things build up and you don't realise until you list them how much you've actually got!
Well done to everyone in June - don't give up. It's not a race or a competition, so anything decluttered is a success. Onwards and upwards to neat and tidy houses and good luck everyone for July.Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

You've all done amazing! I'm running out of stuff! But I've been at the challenge since Feb...
I won't be jettisoning in July, for exactly that reason. I do feel I'm well in the habit now, and am not sure where else I can declutter (unless I go to my mums but that's a whole other thread...). So my July goal will be bits and bobs of decorating (well just refreshing paintwork), and giving the garden a bit more attention.
Not that I need to water my spuds, eh? Let's hope July isn't such a a washout.
I will be reading with interest, so keep up all your posts!

I love the idea of this thread. I have to do something with my utility room, its driving me crazy and its the first room you see when you come in the house.
I went through a stage of thinking we needed more storage and bought enough different types of storage boxes to restock Poundstretcher. The problem with that is it just hides the problem. You fill the storage box then stack stuff on top of it and next to it which looks terrible - hence my horrible utility room.
I dont even know whats in the storage boxes any more.
So I have allocated Monday as the day of the Grand Utility Room Clear Out - its easier to do this while OH is at work. Wish me luck.0 -
Good luck with the GURCO Yorkshirelass
Another 30 items to go in charity bag and a wooden dolls house thing beyond love and repair so I have broken it up into little pieces and put it in the woodshed in the kindling pile!
ETA brings me up to 322 - will update sig later - its looking a but squiffy for some reason and I want to go back to the tennisBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
