(OK, I loaded and unloaded the washer and ironed 4 things, one of which was a hankie).

    .

Well done GreyQueen - that's 4 more than me!!!

Was supposed to do a boot fair today to get rid of a lot of things but we overslept, then decided to go to the coast. As we drove past the field where the boot fair was being held, there were NO cars there, so I presume it had been cancelled anyway. So all previously listed bits for the boot sale will be going to the charity shop tomorrow.

    Today's cull:

    1. 1 messenger bag - cs
    2. 1 unopened tub pickling spices - to mum
    3. 1 teapot (left in a sack of tins for recycling, I was going to try to sell at boot fair) - cs
    4. 2 frying pans - metal recycling
Not much, but we have been out most of the day. Did get all the Christmas decs and spare tree out of the loft, but will offer those on Freegle tomorrow and count them then.

Got a morning in tomorrow so might tackle my ironing pile.... or not...!

I am back for July decluttering (been lurking for the last few months!) Clutter is creeping back in, and I want to save for a trip abroad, so need to get some more items listed for sale. Aiming for 100 items out in July.

I have just found the receipt for my engagement ring dated 16th November 1991.

I still have a receipt for my vacuum cleaner bought in 1986:eek: Cost £75 and still going strong so owes us nothing :)

    Morning all

Well done everyone for efforts in June, and good luck for July.

    GreyQueen you are racing ahead!

    I have to report:

    1. Second-hand costume jewellery necklace which has made my neck swollen, blotchy and itchy  - in the bin (with force!)

    Junk Free July: 1/100 :o

I have a large delivery later so will have boxes & packaging to freecycle - I'm doing the Di3t Ch3f eating plan so also hoping to declutter lots of pounds :)

I've also sorted glass to be taken for recycling and more stuff for the CS but will count when it's out the door.

    Onwards, declutterers!!

Every item out is one less bit of clutter, so it all counts.

:T Good. Hopefully it will be a bit like weightloss, you don't notice week on week but after a couple of months there is a huge difference from the start.

With that I am reporting one item for yesterday. I went through DS underware and threw out anything too small or too worn.

I can probably go back even further than that if I look hard enough, lol, I'm sure I still have receipts from days out with my DS in the '80's, and I know I still have a bus ticket from 1980!

You KNOW you have clutter when you discover you now have 4 travel adaptors after buying one a couple of months ago for this years hol :o - This is what happens when you put together two houses and dont empty the cupboards for five years!!!

When we went away last year, I couldn't find any of the 3 usb adaptors that I knew we had, and I needed 1 for charging my ipod, our camera and our mobiles, so I borrowed 1 off my DS. When we got back I found 2 of the adaptors, and also found that we had another 1 in the box for our new camera which I'd forgotten about, lol!

Finished 1 of 3 lip balms, and 1 of many hand creams (after cutting open to get every bit out), and put packaging in bin as not recyclable, OH finished a shower gel, packaging recycled, and 3 old receipts shredded.

Today a mini declutter - emptied out my basket in the bathroom which gets all the lush stuff and bath stuff.

Got 3 baskets from the pound shop and separated into can wash with it, moisture with it and a misc basket - all now in the cupboard (should join the not buying any toiletries thread!). Binned a couple of smellies I dont like the smell of and put all my gorge lush stuff back in the basket in the bathroom.

Took yesterdays bags to the charity shop and binned a non-working DVD player. :)
