Just back from a fab holiday so not had time to read all the posts I've missed yet but I will. Hope it will give me the motivation I need to declutter this home of ours.

Another bag of paper recycling and another bag of shredding on their way out.
More boxes consolidated and another empty crate is nesting in the cupboard.:D‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

OK does 5 desiccated mouse bodies count? Perils of living in a 200 year old house - the mice families have probably been here that long too:rotfl::rotfl: Just been in the attic an cleared them out - we have an electronic mouse detterent in there and 2 furry mouse deterrents living downsatairs;) but the best way to keep the boogers at bay I am sorry to say is poison. We have used traps too but 'clearing' them is a bit of a chore. As the 2 deterrents downstairs are very effective we only get them in the attic but as DD2 bedroom is half the attic we cant just ignore them - so when we hear scrabbling its time to get the 'big bucket' out! We where furry deterrent free for a while and the bl00dy mice moved in big style - within days! Anyway all this has slowed down my flinging frenzy and I have many charity bags to fill for tomorrow kerbside collection:) So I am off and will update laterBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Thanks again for motivation and support, everyone :T*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -

Congratulations museumworker, enjoy your new arrival and don’t worry about the decluttering for a while, some things are far more important.
I finally managed to get to the doctor on Wednesday, about my sciatica. After calling in the morning, and being told the earliest evening appointment was for 3rd July, (I needed evening so OH could take me, and Wednesday is the only day he finishes early enough) I asked for home visit, so they got the doc to call me back and she asked me to go to the surgery that evening. She gave me co-codamol and diclofenac, which have eased the pain, however I am now suffering the side effects of the meds and have been too tired and nauseous to do much, it’s so frustrating that I’ve been off work for over a week and nothing much has got done!
Only things to add are an ebay parcel (and jiffy bag from stash) which OH posted for me on Thursday (got another 1 to post but that has only just been paid for, so will go later in the week), put a jacket and trousers into CS bag, and I did manage to do a small pile of shredding.
