Hun, if you can't get it to walk off on it's own account, bung it on Freecycle/ Freegle. I had a short length of gutter and a few brackets and put it on Freecycle and you would have thought I was offering the crown jewels; people went mad for it.
Thank you that was going to be my next step but I got home from work at 1.30 ish this afternoon and it had gone, so one job less!Goodreads 2025 Challenge :16/75

Yesterday I filled the car with things for the tip. Couldn't get another passenger in it was so full.
10 pairs of shoes
big bag of broken crockery
2 floor tiles
big bag of random bits from the shed
broken chicken feeder
We also took a pushchair I have been storing for DD and DSIL over to them. It has meant I can walk around my office again.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hello all
Dodgy internet connection has left me unable to post when I want to
Anyway I've got rid of a few more bits:
54. 3 scarves - to CS
55. Bag of DS old trousers - to CS
56. Old coffee table - to CS to use as a display table
57. Assorted bubble wrap and plastic bags - to CS for packaging etc
I'm starting to feel a bit overwhelmed at what I need to do and it's not helped by my family leaving everyday stuff around which makes things look worse. Also I overslept on Tuesday morning and missed the paper/card and tin/plastic recycling collection so it will all pile up until the next fortnightly collection
If anyone has spare 'kick-up-the-bum' vibes please send them my way, I need them :rotfl:

Today I am doing my bedroom as I spend a lot of time in here and it's a mess. I'm focusing on putting everything back in its proper place and chucking out/putting in eBay boxes under bed everything that has no place.
Starting with lots of shredding which is always a plus as it can be recycled to my brother for their guinea pigs.0 -
I have sorted some trousers for my friends little boy. Lol. He's actually 6 months older than DS but he's a little tink (was never gonna be big, his parents both small, whereas I'm 5'8" and dh was 6'2") so now DS has gone up a size, I'm giving all his 2-3 joggers to them, as spares. She needs to sort his potty training as he goes to school in September , and my mil got us loads of spare joggers when DS was training.
She's asked me to keep an eye out for school things that might fit him. Bless, he's a toddler size 5.5 they can't get school shoes for him. Even my dd who is not yet 2 has bigger feet.
He's such a little cutie though, I could just eat him :-)Bossymoo

Daughter went on hol with a stack of magazine freebie shampoos etc I still have a stack of minis but I use them to take in hand luggage when travelling.
Cleared magazines and a couple of newspapers from the living room which leaves only excess books on bookcase to be bagged up for charity shop, all other surfaces in the living room clear of rubbishDoes the charity shop take glossy mags or should I just recycle them?
Used one lush bathbomb so house smells lovely; I have a stack of nice smelly stuff to get through!
Filed some stuff in the office so its getting tidierLight Bulb Moment - 11th Nov 2004 - Debt Free Day - 25th Mar 2011 :j0 -
So I've managed a few things over the last few days;
66 - 68; 3 empty shampoo/shower gel bottles (and now the bath looks so much tidier!!)
69 - 70; two bags of recycling for the kerbside collection
71; I was ecstatic when OH offered to take the desk chair into work ready for when he changes jobs in a couple of weeks and moves offices :j More space in the spare room, and one more thing decluttered. I've only been waiting for a few years(little things and all that!!)
72 - 73; 2 more ebay parcels posted
I'm hoping to go through some more clothes this weekend too. Also hoping OH will maintain the momentum and sort through his huge hoard of computers. Quite why he needs the number of computers, keyboards and monitors that fill our house I will never know....can you guess what industry he works in?!
Weel done everyone, keep up the motivation0 -

I know what you mean though. I feel like I am dealing with the little things which is all well and good, but there are some huge things that need doing. But then again, eventually everything, including the little things, needs to be done, so it is true that every little helps!0 -
Well everything in my bedroom is now back in it's rightful place, in the eBay boxes or in the bin. Looks lovely and tidy, I will hoover tomorrow and it is mostly done. And I'm done for today, yawn.0
