And I'm back in. Feeling refreshed from my holiday. Had to go to Jobcentre so popped into charity shop which is next door and dropped off a bag of 20ish items. Came out with 2 books :D Now getting everything relisted on eBay and updating/decluttering my computer.

:D Wow, aren't we going gangbusters on this thread. I've been away at the weekend but it did serve some decluttering purposes as some of the stuff in my home went to Mum and to brother's and I assisted Mum by watching a Hoarders programme (we were hiding out from the footie) and then we spontaneously went to her bedroom and decluttered 2 bags of clothes and a bag of books and I made sure they went to the c.s. the very next day.

3 and I are doing loads of decluttering. We have a nice pile of scrap metal collected from aroung the garden. You would be amazed what you can find in a 17th century house garden! We will take it for cash when we have to travel that way for some other reason.

I have collected a huge bag of clothes for cashforclothes so have set up collextion.
DH has taken 4 wheelie bins to the main road as the council has refused to come to us any more. They have been standing outside our house for weeks. It feels like major decluttering to me :D

I know I'm very late on this but I have just discovered this thread and think I would like to join in. My house is hopelessly cluttered as both OH and I are hoarders to some extent. However, I am happy to declutter but he isn't. At least that means I can reduce one person's clutter!

There are still 12 days left in June - so get jettisoning :D

    Good luck!

Something I noticed was that when I started clearing my clutter, he cleared his. I'm more of a pile of stuff on floor whereas he's a neat in boxes but still clutter type:D

We have a good few empty boxes these days...
    and floor space!:rotfl:

Short-bird, I would like to think OH would be inspired by my decluttering but I think he will just see the empty space I make as more space to put his stuff! Oh well, gotta try anyway!

I have been horribly tired today and haven't done much at all (not feeling very well unfortunately). But I have done some shredding - does that count??!

I have now tidied up one kitchen drawer and got rid of the odds and ends that I didn't need in there.
Then I went through two of my pen-mugs (mugs that I keep pens in - I tend to attract a lot of pens) - checked whether they worked, through them away if they didn't, or in the case of more expensive pens, put new refills in them, and now I have only working pens! Such simple little things - why didn't I do them before??!

The problem is that I am really only tackling the little jobs - what I need to do is tackle the big jobs but I really don't want to face them!
