    48. 1tsp plastic measuring spoon, cracked - in the bin
    49. 2 yoghurt drinks, well past their use-by date - in the bin
    50. All the manky outside leaves from my veg delivery - in the garden waste bin.

Yay - I'm back on target :j

6 more Eb*y items gone :) could have been 8 but to very slow payers......'oh my daughter bid on this by mistake.......can't pay 'til next week' well dont give your daughter your password:mad: and 'I only pay for items on payday so you will have to wait!'......!!!!!!!
Needless to say both buyers nw on my blocked list;)

Trying to do flinging whilst watching tennis from Queens - not really working although match is pretty boring but its nice to watch somewhere not being battered by howling gales and horizontal rain - getting webbed feet and wind tunnel hair here!

Eurgh found some flour mites / pantry mites in my cupboard. Has caused quite a Lot of flingage. And bleaching. Yuk.

Thankfully there wasn't lots. So I think I've caught them early. Have checked and bleached the other cupboards but thankfully it seems contained to just one.

So been sorting kitchen, spare room will have to wait till after the weekend.

(thank you ziggy I do feel a bit better, my little brats have kept me busy today haha)

    Hiya Bossy

re the mites. They like it damp, apparently so the way to get rid is to dry them out (dessicate them) - wiping out the cupboards won't do the trick unless, when you have wiped out the cupboard you blast the crevices with a hair dryer.

I always found semolina far worse than anything else!

One trip with only half a car load to the tip and one box of glasses and cups to the CS. Removals are booked and the actual price was only £30 over the original quote so very happy with that. I'm sure that decluttering to the max has helped save money on the move.

eta: Have had a bath, poured a glass of chardonnay and have roast dinner in the oven. It's a local airshow tomorrow so we're chilling for the rest of the weekend now. Bliss!

Achieved nothing yesterday:( Think a lot of it might be to do with the weather - its not raining here today.........so far! I have made myself a rough timetable which involves a 'big tidy', general chores and much jettisoning...........hopefully! All wrapped round the Archers(I know..... but I love it!) and watching the tennis :) Hopefully will be back at end of day with a total;)

Feeling rather lonely today since OH is working away and I am not used to have a weekend on my own. The only positive thing is that I have decluttered what I had planned this weekend. Bookshelf in the living room is looking how it should look like i.e neat and tidy. I have filled half of the recycling bin with paperwork that I have shredded. Also, finally managed to sow the lavender seeds that will hopefully brighten up the windowsill in the kitchen in a couple of weeks. I made 2 batches of muffins yesterday so used up some dried fruit.

Hope you are all having a nice weekend.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j

    An extra bag of rubbish
1/2 bag of recycling and 1/2 a bag of shredding
Another 15 items to the charity shop bag

And 3 containers emptied! (2 drawers and a Re@lly Useful Box.)

  • Managed to do a bit today;

62-63 Old tealight holders for the CS
64 Unused sketch book for the CS
65 Shower radio for the CS

Hoped to do a bit more but feeling a bit :( today. My dad died 3 years ago on father's day, and heard today my uncle, who is only 50, is very unwell in hospital 100's of miles away and is not expected to make it. Already lost my grandad this year, and OH was nearly made redundant (luckily got another job just in time), so just wondering what else the year has to throw my way :(
