    39. box of spongy jewellery box inserts  - in the bin
    40. bottle of room spray which wouldn't spray or let me open it - in the bin

I want to have reached 50 by the end of tomorrow so I'm on target for half-way through June.

Keep up the good work :D

Thanks for all the kind thoughts. Feeling a bit better now.

Have sorted a few more books that can go, and also went through my jewellery box. I never wear any of it... The stretchy bracelets have been claimed by the kids, for the dressing up box, and some of the neater looking ones can go to the church sale.

I'll do the book box that's in bottom of cupboard tonight when kiddies in bed.

Today I took all my decluttered dvds to the shop to sell (53 in all) so made some money. They were also 'in transit' in the cellar.I made 73 francs on them,so pleased about that.

I have decluttered/tidied/recycled piles of paperwork but the flat doesn't look much tidier.

I might manage a bit more tomorrow.I just need to get the ironing out of the way first.

Brought home with us loads of cans for recycling (but they will go almost immediately), 5 bags of pebbles for garden (4 already used),

Do you take the cans to the scrapyard for cash hun? If so, what's the going rate just now? Where do you get the pebbles from pls-if you don't mind me asking - do you just pick them up or did you mean you bought them?

Yes, we take the cans to a metal recyclers for money in aid of my grandson's future care fund. He's got a chromosome deletion and will need care for the rest of his life. Currently they pay 30p per kilo for aluminium cans, and anywhere between 6p and 12p a kilo for the steel ones (depending on who deals with us and whether they know that day's prices!!!). We've now decided it's not really worthwhile taking steel ones so we're trying to phase them out.

The pebbles and stones - we bought them.from The Range. They had a deal on the small ones - 3 for £10. The cobblestones are a lot bigger and were £5.99 a bag. A lot to pay for stones but they do definitely make the garden look better!

Didn't do any real decluttering today - just made 2 morsbags out of some fabric, so will only count that as 1 jettison.

Hoping to get some motivation tomorrow - got someone coming to look at the house on Saturday morning and I'm sure they'll want to open some of the cupboard doors. So an emergency declutter is needed, wouldn't want them to be squashed by everything we've shoved in them falling out!

Thank you. Just been a tough day. My tots made fathers day cards at nursery (I am glad, didn't want them to be excluded) then while I was sorting, I came across a photo of my husband when he was in hosp, he looks so ill. Just brought it all back that's all xxx having an "it's not fair" day

    :(

Sorry wasn't around earlier (or even last night) but I just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and have no idea what to say except I'm sending you big hugs and best wishes xx

Still chucking stuff out, packing and making CS runs. *sigh*

2 more weeks to go then when it's all unpacked at the other end, I'm having a rest.

Where does it all come from?!

    It breeds.

We have just emptied the teddy toy box. No one plays with them any more so we are giving them "to the poorly babies" and I now have a home for all the dressing up clothes! Double win!
