Not much to report.I've had quite a stressful day off for various reasons, though I did brave the rain to lug up all those decluttered items that I've listed recently for the cs.They were 'in transit' ie in my cellar!0

I can't find my way out lol x
ETA:
Duvet cover, 6 pillowcases, 4 double sheets, pair of pumps, 2 single sheets (return to mum) pair of trousers DS grown out of.
How much bedding do you keep? I have two sets each for me and children (poss extra couple of sheets for kiddies), but the spare bed has more than all of us. It's one of those lift up guest beds, so two singles / join to make king. I have 2 single sheets and 3 duvet covers, 2 king sets for when it's together, and I have kept a double sheet and spare pillowcases in case we have extra guests and need to use the air bed (often happens at Xmas when all the grandparents stay).
Is this excessive? As you can see, I've got rid of some already (recently gone from double to king hence lots of sheets exiting)
ETAM : (edited to add more)
Now hit target! Sorted through underwear and got rid of several bras past their best and some grotty looking socks, plus other bits of carp hiding beneath them! I am truly minimalist now! YaayBossymoo

Crikey, that's another 40 today, so I've hit my target and gone over it!!! Still got lots more that I want to do though, so I'll maybe aim for 200 for June.
House is now looking very tidy and clean in readiness for its photos being taken tomorrow (going on the market). The hard bit will be keeping it that way for when anyone wants to view!!
Well done to everyone on this challenge: just keep decluttering one thing at a time!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Just think, if you had a Ford Transit van, your things could be in transit in a Transit (groan).
After what I thought was going to be a no-show, item exited last night via Freecycle. Shan't say exactly what as it was a bit unique and too much of a real-world identifier. I have also reconciled the jamjars and have 6 with lids awaiting some more additions before being Freecycled (they always go). The stray lids I've binned. I've delved into some strange corners of my kitchen and dragged some groceries forward to blink in the wide light of day. I have them sitting on the counters so they can't sidle off and be forgotten again.
47. Coffee jar - recyc
48. 3 rawl plugs pulled out of wall - binned.
50-52 3 expired suncreams - binned.
53. Top which has been washed and will be going to c.s.

55. Another coffee jar - recyc.

I've passed the half-way mark, yayyy!
bossymoo the answer re bedlinen is too darned many but I'm allowing natural attrition to take them away. Realistically may not need to buy another sheet for decade or two.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Well, I came home to find that OH had sorted out 3 black bin bags full of cardboard for the recycling!
And, he had folded the remainder boxes all into one big box to tidy it up a bit. And....he has another day off today and said he would tackle the remaining boxes and get them all out before I get home today.
*does happy dance* (looks a lot like the running man)
That has cleared so much space! And now I can see the pile of stuff I previously sorted to be flung on eBay, so I can sort that out and get rid of it too!
There is no longer a pile of boxes between kitchen worktop and kitchen table!
I know I am disproportionately happy about this, but I've been waiting soooooo long for that to be sorted! *contented sigh*
And..I did my Shred DVD workout last night. And got OH to hoover up before I started! XD
I did have to resist temptation though when he told me he was going to declutter the remaining wine from the fridge, and also a magnum ice cream. I knew I shouldn't have told him about some people referring to food items being decluttered on this forum! lolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Ladies and gents - I have a BIG bag full of strong, reusable shopping bags. Some are the standard plastic ones, and some are the really sturdy ones (often fabric).
I am going to go through and get rid of a load of them as we just don't need so many. We only have many as I was adjusting to the culture of 'bring a bag with you when you go shopping' when I first moved here, and kept forgetting, and ended up buying bags so often at the supermarket.
Anyway, anyone got any good ideas of what to do with them? To a CS? Seems awfully wasteful (and against the intent behind them) to just throw them away.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

I'm sure any CS will love them, most plastic bags for customers' purchases are donated and I know in my shop we are always running low and would be very grateful for as many more as we can fit under the counter!
