  • A bit of a slower day today;

40 - bag of garden waste
41 - old remote control for DVD player for bin
42 - bag of rubbish from spare room
43 - a plate for the bin, which OH kindly broke in half trying to put it on the side after dinner....oh well less washing up:cool:

Got 30 items ending on ebay in the next few days so hoping some of them sell

I also forced myself to 'declutter' my kitchen cupboard of half an easter egg I found lurking....does that count?! :D

Tackled the bedroom today as wanted to catch up on some back episodes of 'Lewis' and they were recorded on the TV in there - filled a bin bag and a half :) Approx 45 items - clothes books DVDs general household things all going to CS and are in boot of car ready to go in morning and a load of coathangers in the bin :)
Will update signature - over 100 now:)

Bags and stuff now gone to CS shop:j Added 15 more items. Old pillow binned - I am sure an animal charity could have used it but couldn't justify the fuel bill driving to nearest one:( Box of over 30 books - work related stuff - gone on Fr**gle:j And 1 item sold on Eb*y today ( I have a few selling that finish tomorrow but wont count those til they are paid for;) So that is a a wonderful 154 items...thinking I could get to 200 by end of June:D

    30. Bag of DS's smart shirts - to my CS
    31. Bag of dust and carp from the dyson - flung in the bin.

I have a couple of bags of stuff to look through that DD doesn't want any more but there are some school books and artwork in there, which I find really hard not to keep :o I'll gear myself up and go in when I'm feeling tough!!

    :) Afternoon all.

I've been MIA from posting although I have been reading all your flingings whilst I've been a bit poorly. Having to scrabble a bit for flingage at the mo. Lots of stuff needs something done to it before it goes (books to read, DVDs to watch and return whence they were borrowed, mainly my brother).

Still, I have started another c.s. bag:

    27. A good CD -no longer to my taste - c.s.
    28. A very bad CD - fell off a newspaper - binned.
    29. A book I finished reading - c.s.
    30. Addis food storage container -waste of 30p- back to c.s
    31. Ice cream tub - bin
    32. Chipped fridge water jar - recyc- lid in bin.
    33. DVD - watched it -back to brother's (I have a bag :o)
    34. Packing cube- bad design- back to the c.s.
    35 & 36 The jamjars -sorted and 2 recyc'd.
    37. Big bag of mixed recycling going to bring bank tomorrow.

:o Pitiful, isn't it? :o All the big stuff has gone.

I'm still working on the travel diaries project which will end up reducing a folder of carp and maps and guidebooks into one easy booklet. I'm also playing the last few cassettes (anyone reading who isn't familiar with this term can leave right now 'cos you're making me feel old).

Yup, being OLD, I have an elderly CD/radio/tape thingy and a paltry 8 cassettes - all ripped from the vinyl, back in the (Rolling) Stone Age. I'm having a listen to see if I care enough to replace them in a more modern format, or if they can just slip out into the dustbin......

    Keep going. peeps.

    Spare room cupboard:

    Empty gift card box
Various cables still unused from house move 5 yrs ago
    Bedding packaging
    Baby door bouncer
    Pack of nappies
    Assorted belts
    Assorted cardboard boxes

Also sorted a lot of late hubby's stuff into stackable boxes for loft. They are things the children might want to see when they are older, hence keeping them. There is a scrapbook he put together himself when he went on a school trip to London, shortly after his first brain tumour. Also boxes of Hornby Railways stuff that our little lad might like when he's a bit older.
