  • Well I've had another few ebay items packaged up and dispatched so can add more to my total;

49 - 52 Ebay items posted (more pennies in the pot for my hoover :j)
53 + 54 Two pairs of shoes to the bin, not good enough to even give away!!
    55 Old shoe box
56 Manky old t-shirt for rags

Pleased with my progress so far. The OH is away for the next couple of days so I might beable to do some more decluttering without him here (not declutter some of his stuff, honest :D)

I've got another bag of flingage from the spare room drawers but I'm not counting any more. Not sorting the shelves tonight, feeling sorry for myself instead.

Bossymoo, hope you feel better tomorrow xxx

Not much flinging here today as estate agent came at 10 till 12, then we went out for a couple of hours. Brought home with us loads of cans for recycling (but they will go almost immediately), 5 bags of pebbles for garden (4 already used), and some new microfibre cloths. Had a little declutter of things in the loft though..

    so....

    1. 40+ items to local charity for tombola
    2. 60-ish bottles and jars to bottle banks
    3. Torn pair of PJ bottoms – fabric recycling
    4. Really manky microfibre cloth – fabric recycling

Onwards and upwards. I really love the 'minimalist' look our house has at the moment: got a viewing Saturday so it's got to stay like it! Everything has either been shoved in a wardrobe, the loft or the garage, so I do need to sort all those out still. Very tempting just to fling the lot but I wouldn't be very popular!!!

Feel as if I'm letting you all down, de-cluttering at the min is a bit hit and miss but things are moving. Have spent the morning moving furniture at my mums and home but have found a couple of bits to go. There is some serious flinging going on at the moment and I am a bit jealous, lol.

Thank you. Just been a tough day. My tots made fathers day cards at nursery (I am glad, didn't want them to be excluded) then while I was sorting, I came across a photo of my husband when he was in hosp, he looks so ill. Just brought it all back that's all xxx having an "it's not fair" day

    :(

    Big hugs Bossymoo! ((HUGS))

For me, 4 black bin bags of cardboard have now left the building. Along with 2 black bin bags of rubbish (rubbish collection was also this morning). There are still some cardboard boxes left, as OH's hand was so sore from cutting up the boxes the day before, he didn't get very far yesterday. Which is fair enough - I remember having the same problem when I tried to tackle the mountain once before.

More chocolate has been decluttered from the fridge - by OH, not me. I did Day 2 of Shred last night. I am sore all over!

I didn't do any other decluttering last night as I didn't really have time. Came home, did Shred, had shower, prepared for Holland vs Germany game, had dinner, watched game, had chat with parents, fell asleep! lol

But there is no football match to distract me tonight (none that I am interested in anyway). And seeing as I keep having to move a couple things out of the way, before I can move the coffee table, to do my workout - I am thinking of starting with those 'couple of things' by the coffee table!!!

    (((hugs))) bossymoo.

tackled 'the baking box' today. Massive box we got to put baking stuff in to free up shelf when had lodger, took up loads of worksurface. Lodger moved out now, so shelf half used. Box was a mess - flour had spilt over EVERYTHING, so all needed a wipe. Soaking box in bath now, will use for outdoor toys and put under the stairs. It was too big for foodstuff really, but we wanted to make sure no vermin would get at stuff. Cleared a large part of worksurface, which means more space, and can put XXL box of laundry powder by the washing machine now and off the floor (simple things!)
    52-56) plastic tubs recycled
    57-62) OOD foodstuffs binned

    Thinking of you bossymoo

I am still decluttering just one room. Yesterday I sold a book for £9.99 so feeling pleased about that. Today I am sorting out books to go to charity shops. Then those that won't sell go in the firelighting box.

Also have to 'do' the accounts so might find more to fling there.
