Took me the best part of an hour to dismantle the headboard off the bed. :D

I like the minimal low profile effect that comes with having no headboard but no doubt i'll replace it at some point.

I had a big declutter in my cellar space yesterday on my day off.
I was spurned on when I spotted a few moths,as the only remaining wall there that I have not yet decluttered has a rug and some fabrics.

I didn't find anything moth damaged, thankfully.Anyway, here it is:

    -5 tins to cs
    -1 duvet set
    -3 tops
    -1 fitted sheet
    -2 cushions
    -2 pictures
    -1 cushion cover
    -3 towels
    -2 colanders
    -3 coat hangers
    -3 bags
    -1 pillow case
    -2 books
    -3 picture frames
    -1 sofa cover
    -1 drip tray
    -1 muffin tin

    All to the cs.

    -2 jars recycled

-2 coat hangers returned to dry cleaners

    -3 empty plastic buckets binned
-1 manky basin and nail file binned

That's 123/100,so I'm well pleased. Now i just have to lug it all up the road to the cs with my shopping trolley. It'll take a few trips.

PS A wee hello to expresso21.You're doing really well, keep it up!

69 Empty/rusty sweet tin (from leaky shed) - Recycling

70 Large piece of guttering & brackets etc - advertised as free on my front yard (hoping someone will take it for use on the allotments - fingers crossed)

lol, how feeble is that, lol? promise to do better tomorrow, night all and keep up the great work :T

    espresso - you've made a fantastic start
:) Hun, if you can't get it to walk off on it's own account, bung it on Freecycle/ Freegle. I had a short length of gutter and a few brackets and put it on Freecycle and you would have thought I was offering the crown jewels; people went mad for it.

10 more items in CS bag - mixture of toys books and tat! We have kerbside collection here on Monday too so I am going to call in on few neighbours in the village to see if they want their bags and if not I will certainly make use of them!

Hi i've found our collections will take bin bags. I left 3 black liners full of stuff by the kerb this morning, and just tied the original thingy on to one, so they can use it again. They were all taken.

Thanks for the welcome and encouragement! I have only just walked in from work so haven't done anything but did jettison another book last night and am about to have a bath and use up the last of a bottle of shower gel. That may not sound like a big deal but I love buying shower gel and have loads of loads of nearly empty or half empty bottles. I am going to start using them up methodically rather than jumping from one to another.
And then I am going to make dinner. Does eating up the food count as decluttering??? :rotfl:

So impressed at some of you and the amount you can get rid of in one day! Wow!

Very little done tonight as I got in late and still had work to do (still not finished actually ). Anyway:

    11. another fiction book
    12. shower gel
    13. bubble bath

12 and 13 are part of my grand plan to use up the numerous bottles of bath stuff I have!

I keep looking around the room as I am sitting here and wondering what I can throw away!!!
